I ordered these because my bunion has gotten so much worse and they come in extra wide. I wanted to run in them but the sole is very stiff and they feel too heavy for running. They have been excellent for walking though. I have these a 3 out of 5 on style, because I had input a style rating but honestly this was not a shoe I ordered to be stylish.

Brooks Dyad are the only sneakers my feet will tolerate; I've tried so many others only to be returned. I'm an older person with a history of foot and ankle injury, flat feet, hammer toes and arthritis. I have custom orthotics for both feet with a 1inch lift on one of them (for the ankle I broke 20 years ago). I'm an 8 Extra wide to accommodate for orthotics and extra room for my toes so they don't hurt. Not all brooks are the same; the Addiction Walker killed my toes, but the Dyad gave me the room I needed; this is the only shoe I can wear pain free. I've tried Dr. Comfort and Orthofeet, but they did not work for me. I had to go from wide to extra wide and half size up because of my orthotics.

Very comfortable

I love these shoes!! I have funny feet issues, including recurring plantar fasciitis and I tend to supinate (the opposite of pronate), which makes finding good shoes a real challenge. Because of my supination issue, I tend to blow out the outside portion of shoes’ toe boxes long before the shoes have worn out. But not with my Brooks Dyads! The pair I’ve just worn out never blew out and worked like a champ through their entire life! Plus, I’ve had zero plantar fasciitis episodes while wearing them! I’m a believer!!

Finally, here are shoes that fit so very well! I love them!
