Shoe did not have cushioned support like previous Dyads. The tongue was too small: narrow and short. Have worn Brooks for years but these starting hurting my feet within a couple of hours.

Shoe did not have cushioned support like previous Dyads. The tongue was too small: narrow and short. Have worn Brooks for years but these starting hurting my feet within a couple of hours.

Soles are slippery and won?t grab hard surfaces.

I love the Dyad line of shoes. I have been wearing them since the Dyad 7. I actually go through 2 to 3 pairs before Brooks comes out with the next version. I received the Dyad 11, the same size and Wide width I have been wearing for many years. They are so big in the toe area and not comfortable at all compared to previous Dyads. I tried wearing them around the house on several occasions and just can't get use to them or comfortable. I tired changing the laces by making them tighter and looser but nothing helped. I'm so disappointed that I willed to return them. Guess I better stock up on older versions and hope the Dyad 12 is better! I have an old pair of Dyad 7, I keep to do outside work around the house. I put it on recently and it was amazing!! It made me realize just how much Brooks has changed the Dyads over the years and how the cushion has changed. I hope this helps Brooks before the Dyad 12 is made.
