Not for me. Arch support immediately caused headache. Had to return.

For my soles, this was not a good choice and I regret purchasing them. There isn't enough cushion inside and I'm getting calluses as a result. I'm sure they are perfect for others. I love the glycerin style and will stick with those.

Sorry that these shoes did not work for me. I have flat feet and a variety of foot bone problems. They just don't fit me at all. I cannot wear them. They cave in on the midfoot both sides, worse on one foot than the other. I wore them inside with my orthotics and ankle braces for many hours on 3 different days. Thanks for giving me the chance to try them without shipping or return costs.

This shoe was very uncomfortable! I was very disappointed and returned it immediately! Not the quality of Brooks I usually buy!

Brooks is making all their shows too narrow now even for the wide fit!!! I' have read tons of complaints about this with all the models now can't even buy this brand of shoe anymore because of this.

I hope that this review can help someone - maybe you. My friend who works for a doctor recommended these shoes. (Spoiler alert - she is now having problems with them. More on that soon...) So, I went to a few local stores that carry them, and tried many on. I even went back on different occasions, and spent about a half an hour with a good number of shoes, trying to test them out as best I could before purchasing. At first, some of the shoes were incredibly comfortable. I was incredibly impressed, and really wanted to take a pair home. But after about 20 minutes to a half an hour in them, they started to really hurt my foot, and EVERY SINGLE PAIR did the exact same thing. I realized the shoes were made TOO NARROW, and the outer sides of the mid to top half of my foot were literally sitting on the edge of the shoe. This was not something I could feel at first, but with time it just got worse and worse until it was hurting. I even tried putting some cushy inserts in, but this did nothing to lessen the effect. I even tried wider and bigger sizes, really hoping to regain that initial great comfort that I had felt when I put them on. I ended up in a size 9, which I NEVER wear, and a WIDE as well, which was ridiculous for my size (I do NOT have a big foot), but still, the problem persisted.... I finally was in touch with Brooks, and they recommended the Dyad. I was told that it was made wider than their other shoes, and so it should work. I ordered the shoe in a NINE WIDE, hoping to give this shoe every chance possible to work, but when it arrived and I tried to walk around in my house for a little while in it, I could feel the same problem starting up all over again. Plus, wearing a NINE WIDE made my foot look SO MUCH BIGGER than it actually is! Both physically and aesthetically these shoes had become nothing but a hassle, so I sent them back. When I told my friend who had originally recommended them to me what had happened, she told me that she had purchased a new pair of the Glycerin I believe it was, and that SHE IS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM with her new pair. Please note that my friend is 5 foot 0 inches, weights 110 pounds, and has the tiniest, most narrow foot to go with her petite size. She said she keeps wearing them to work hoping to try to break them in, but that it is not happening. She is disappointed too, and feels that Brooks is now making their shoes WAY TOO NARROW. (NO KIDDING! If a 5'0", 110 pound girl with the smallest, most narrow foot is having issues, Brooks is DEFINITELY doing SOMETHING wrong.) She also mentioned that she has noticed other people on Brooks' website complaining about the same thing, so these are definitely not lone incidents. If these shoes would stay as comfortable as they are when you first put them on, they would be a dream. But for some reason Brooks has it in their head to make these shoes much smaller and more narrow then necessary, and that is really too bad. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend these shoes to anyone. Maybe some people will be ok with them, but I think it is clear that as things stand now (with our experience and the experiences of others commenting online), there will also be others who will not. I hope Brooks starts to design their shoes based on a wider selection of normal foot shapes, and gets far more reasonable about their sizing.

I recently purchased Dyad 11 and surprisingly was very disappointed. I had been using a fantastic pair of Dyad7 for quite a while with no problems. The Dyad 11 is very disappointing. The shoes seem to be much narrower and they irritate my pinky toes, hense I can only wear them for about one hour. I've loosened the laces considerably with no relief. I don't know what to do. I like the shoes and have tried to "break them in" but the problem does not go away. What can I do ?? Would appreciate you help. Judy G.

I bought a pair of Dyads in June but within 8 weeks the inside of the heel was worn through, making them useless. I love the fit and it gets 5 stars for cushioning, which is essential for my back arthritis. Shoes at this price should not wear out with only moderate road walking.

I have been happy with previous versions of Dyad but the quality of the 11's is not good. The inside of the heel is wearing out quickly. I thought maybe I just got a lemon pair so I bought another pair and within a couple of weeks the upper inside of the heel is also totally worn out.

I liked the look, but the Dyad 11 seemed very bulky!

Don't like them. Hurt my feet. Wider that the Dyad 10-- which was the PERFECT shoe. I owned 6 or 7 pairs of teh 10. Won't buy this again. And I don't like the color choice. Bought it anyway but sorry I did.

I'm going to have to send them back. My heel slips out of the back. I'm very disappointed. This would be my third pair but they just don't fit right. There was no shipping slip in the box. How do I return and get credit? Many thanks. Katharine McHale

I returned these. They were heavy and not comfortable for plantar fasciitis.

So uncomfortable for me! I have wide feet & a fairly high arch. These were not comfortable at alll~ had to return!
