Ive been but the same Brooks shoe for years. This pair is kinda weird. On one shoe, the laces are too shortand fine on the other shoe! And the tongue is noticeably too narrow. Narrower than on other pairs. I often kick up small rocks; a narrow tongue doesnt do the job of keeping them out! Thank you for the opportunity to share these observations. Best, Kathi

I bought my third pairs of Ariel '20 this year. It is one of the best running shoes I have ever had. I wear a Women's 10 Wide and this shoe fits great, with an ample toe box. Finally! My toes don't jam up. These shoes last me about 400 miles, and then I retire them to my walkabout and gardening shoes. These shoes are part of my 3 pair rotation for the outdoors.

My podiatrist told me to get brooks Ariel to help my planters fascitis. I just got them a month ago, I think I actually need a slightly smaller size. I am waiting until after my toenail surgery to buy a smaller size.

The Ariel is comfortable except for the top of the shoe. It is too tight for me. Maybe it will loose up as I wear it more.
I would love it if the colors and design would be updated. It has not changed in years.

I really love these shoes! I use them for running and they have really great support. I struggle a lot with pain in the arches of my feet and in my ankles, and these really help prevent those issues. They are a little cushiony for my liking, but that is just my personal preference for running. These are a really great, comfortable, supportive shoe for everyday wear or for physical activity!

Great support; ordered 1/2 size large which made a great fit; limited color choices.

Great for my arthritis but I like Ariel 18 better. They seemed to have more arch support and stiffer in back where put heal on in shoe. This folds over in back.

These are awesome shoes. Lots of support, and great balance. I mostly run indoors and these are the best shows Ive ever had to keep my feet and legs comfortable, even when running most days of the week.

I love these shoes. I am so sorry that you are no longer selling them. I have so much trouble with my feet and fitting into sneakers. These were the best fitting for my feet. Why are you not selling them anymore. Please bring them back. Please.

Yes! I luv my Ariel's they are the best shoe Ive ever come across for the Maximum Support. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes are wonderful! Brooks Shoes are the only shoes I like and feel they are the Best Shoes out in the market, in my opinion. My Podiatrist introduced them to me years ago and I have worn them since.

So she was a nice, I think the original inserts are better than the ones the physician asked me to use so hopefully I'll get used to them

I use to purchase Adrenalins but in recent years that haven't fit as well as they originally did. This was my first purchase of Ariel's and found that they have the original support I use to get with Adrenalins. If you need max arch support I would recommend Ariel's!

Support is great but I wish they were a little lighter. Snug through the mid foot but I guess that's for support. But please make better colors! The only pretty one is the peacock. Gray and black are ugly. Would buy more if color selection was better.

The shoe is OK, but not the best of Brooks. The first issue is putting it on. The back has no pull string, so the cushioning for the back (the purple part) folds into the shoe every time you put it on. I have to say that the cushioning top of the heel portion feels great once you get it on, however, your heel always pushes it down into the shoe. The shoe feels wide. I am not sure why. I have several Brooks shoes that fit me perfectly, just this one is made a bit differently. I did have to put in an orthotic for the arch- however, that is because I have flat-footed like a duck. Lacing is strange. When you lace the shoe, there is no spacing when you get to the end. They have an area where you can lace the shoe to one of 3 positions. If you only use one of the positions, the laces are WAY too long; if you lace it so that you use 2 of the 3 positions, it has a lot of lace at the end. So I am giving this 4 out of 5 stars.

My current pair was Ariel'14 (probably the best tennis shoes I've ever had) and realized the tread was getting worn and it was time for a new Ariel. Sadly, I found this new Ariel '20 was not constructed with the same support as the '14 version. Granted, during the pandemic the manufacturers have shifted gears to deliver cheaper materials and fluffy foam that is currently trending (ie. Sketchers). The fluffy soles were not supportive enough for me, as I have Metatarsal and narrow feat. Even with my Metatarsal ortho inserts, still not enough support on the sides and under ball of my foot (felt like my toes were running barefoot). Unfortunately, I had to return and continue my search for the best pair for my feet.

I love my Ariel shoes. I've tried your other shoes and none have the padded tongue that works so well for my foot. I also like the roomier toe box. My only complaint is the lack of different colors that your other shoes have. Four choices are all that is available. How about more color choices and more size 12's!!!

I have a few pair from Brooks, Ghost 14 and adrenaline 22. All in 7 wide and feel great, however the Ariel 7W is narrow and tight. I had to check to make sure they sent the right shoe.
Ill be returning these.
