I left Brooks and went to another brand. I'm back!! I love this shoe. I wish there were more color choices. P.S. I'm not a runner.....I just like great fitting shoes!!

Love this shoe. I work on my feet 9-10 hour days on hard floors and I feel very comfortable at the end of the day. Shoes didn't need any breaking in time. Will buy this type again.

I am not a runner, and hardly walk. I have severe arthritis in my feet and ankles. My doctor wants me to wear these shoes, and I agree as these shoes provide the needed support and stability to keep my feet from twisting. The Ariel 20 is my fourth pair of Ariels, and I have to wear them all the time. I must say that the Ariel 20 feels better than the 18 that I purchased at the same time. I will forever be an Ariel wearer.

Love these shoes! I did order up a half size bc I believe it was suggested, but they were a little roomier than I usually prefer. If you like your shoes TIGHT then order your regular size! I'm just weird and don't like to have any extra space in my shoes!

I am a 73 year old walker. Best shoe ever for my daily 3 mile speed walk with my pup. Not as stiff as the Ariel 18 but still very supportive. Also, ordered a half size up and wide width. No break in time needed. Very supportive with comfortable cushioning. I suggested this shoe to my daughter who has had a serious ankle injury. They side rails should help with her foot alignment, as it has with mine. I've been wearing this shoe daily for 2 months with no complaints. Can't wait to see what Brooks comes up with next.

I have been wearing this shoe for about three years, after my podiatrist recommended it for my flat feet, plantar fasciitis, and with custom orthotics. I ordered on-line as my local store is now closed due to COVID, and I was pleased they were perfect in every way. I could just put them on and go walking! I like the choice of colors this year; I prefer the black over the lavender.

I have worn the Ariel 18 for a couple of years and thought it was time to replace them. I have recently had a knee replacement and I like the extra support I get with the Ariel. It feels good and has good arch support.. I talked with a Brooks representative who gave great advise and I highly recommend talking with their staff about what shoe best meets your needs. Brooks is correct when they suggest you order a half size up. I usually wear a 6 and the 6.5 is perfect.

My first Ariels, after wearing Ghosts for a few years. I'm a walker, 3-5 miles most days, and the Ariels seem better suited for that. Other reviewers had mentioned using them for walking or because they were in jobs where they were on their feet a lot. That led me to try them. The Ariels fit me as well as the other Brooks shoes I've worn for the past several years - meaning they fit my more narrow heels. They sit a little higher on my feet than the Ghosts, so the socks that I had worn with the Ghosts didn't work as well and I got a rub on one heel as a result. The sock issue is now resolved and I am loving my Ariels. Pain from a heel spur (or what's left of my old plantar fascitis issue) has largely resolved. I feel like my legs and feet move the way they are supposed to with the Ariels. Thanks, Brooks!

Very comfortable right out of the box, enough room for my wide toes, plenty of support (I'm a walker, not a runner). Can wear for long periods. Older version made me feel like I was sliding forward, but these are stable.
