I've worn Brooks Ariel for more than 15 years of running a marathon, multiple half-marathons, innumerable 5Ks, and all the training runs in between. I have not suffered a running-related injury due to my shoes in all that time. I love this shoe.

Very comfortable

This is the only sneaker brand/model I can wear consistently, after a 2 year battle with plantar fasciitis left me hobbling and unable to walk. I do use a Walk Hero insert with the shoe, but even the included footbed is very cushy compared to others. The price hurts- but they work. I wear out 3-4 pairs a year walking.

After reading reviews I opted to order my daughter her usual size in tennis shoes - 12. (In other shoe styles she is between an 11 and 11.5. I did take note of the reviews mentioning width and decided to go with the wide width since she has very wide, flat feet. She said the shoes fit perfect! She has flat feet with very bad overpronation and as she put it - with these on her feet can't turn in. I did a lot of research before ordering these shoes and received numerous recommendations for this exact pair. I am very pleased and so is my daughter!

AWESOME! Perfect fit. Most comfortable shoes I’ve put on my feet. I have osteoarthritis with knee & hip pain and these are the only shoes I can wear. I have 4 pairs of the Brooks Ariel.
