Love the shoe, but my last two pair have ripped away from the toe. I only use them on the treadmill and it’s a shame they only lasted one year.

For about 20 years, I've worn Beast running shoes and have dearly loved them. Four months ago, I got a new pair, but the heel caved in. It hurts to walk now. I've only ever worn Beast, so I don't know what to do. It feels like losing a friend.

I have wide feet, so I ordered a pair of 8 1/2 Wide. Unfortunately, they weren't wide enough.

So disappointed with this year's Beast- the heel is about 1/2 inch too low, so my foot slips out. Not a problem with the Adrenaline- which I usually get. Have been happy with Brooks run shoes for over 20 years, until 2023!

I have had four pairs of Brooks Motion Control shoes (all the way back to ones with metal siding). The quality has dropped significantly. After one week the side of the shoe is already ripping. I would not recommend the shoe for long term use, but it still helps prevent pronation.

Old style running shoe. Stiff, slightly heavy and with an uncomfortable insole.
Would have returned them if a had not trimmed the shoe laces and misplaced the insoles

I like black shoes, these are not all black and the white bottoms look like a geek so I will pass on my favorite shoes again this year.

I've been running in Brooks Beast for at least 20 years, over 40 pairs, and they've always been great for overpronation and motion control which I really need. I never had any issues or injuries at all, ever! I tried these for a few months at 16 miles per week and really wanted to love them, however the latest 2020 version are nothing like the previous versions and they are the worst running shoes I've ever owned! They do not provide the support and motion control that they once did, they feel flimsy, and the toe box is snug. During and after every run I have nothing but stiff legs, knee joint pain and back pain, so much so that I had to stop using them and basically toss them out. Absolutely nothing else has changed in my exercise running routine except for these shoes. I am now a former Brooks and Brooks Beast customer and will never ever buy the Beast or any other Brooks shoe again! I would give them 1/2 star if it was allowed.

I have been wearing brooks beasts for 15+ years. I have had minor issues over the years but overall, I loved them. Every change I could get, I would recommend brooks to friends and family. Even after my permanent injury/surgery that left me unable to run, I continued to wear them. That all changed with this model. For some reason, somebody decided to place a flimsy piece of plastic (or something plastic like) in the toe area. The moment you stub your toe the plastic bends and becomes permanently indented. On the first shoe, (purchased in Feb) the plastic rested on my toe permanently, so I returned and purchased a larger shoe. Two weeks later, with the larger shoe the same issue happened. This is a design flaw!!! When I called Brooks to report the issue, I explained that I mostly use these at work (desk job) and to walk (2 miles a day). I was told that I was not wearing them for their designed purpose which is why they are indented. If the she cannot handle the conditions of sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day, I cannot imagine how they will hold up against running. Bottom line is these shoes feel great but overall they are worthless if a piece of plastic is resting on your toes all day.

I have been a brooks customer for the last ten years. But the shoes have changed and do not provide the support they once did. The beast was a supportive walking shoe and provided support for the knees and back. The tongue had extra padded support, the collar surrounding the back near the Achilles was padded for support and today the beast doesn't give that support. The ball of the foot section of the shoe used to provide a sushi in bed to protect the toes, today they do not. I truly believe Brooks has made this a running shoe because if feels nothing like a strong walking and supporting shoe.
The same goes for the addiction!! I guess Brooks doesn't make shoes for seniors are those with problem feet. I will not spend my money on your shoes anymore.
I bought the beast 20 returned it and tried the Addiction2 and I'm returning it as well.
When Brooks can make a shoe that has cushion like the HOKA bondi8 shoe I will consider buying it!!

Not impressed at all, I have worn the Beast series for many years and I can honestly say they have managed to make them feel cheap and uncomfortable, returning them asap

Not impressed. I've done well with the Ghost series. Beast is far too padded yet somehow doesn't feel supportive. And even extra wide feels tight.

I brought 2 pair and they last about 6 months, they stopped giving military discounts, so Nobull does give military discounts . Brooks are the only shoe company that does support the military veterans

I have worn brooks sneakers for years. This is my first time ordering beast. I hate these shoes so much. My feet hurt after I wear them. Also I had to buy a shoehorn to put them on because the backs of the shoes fall into themselves. And they did that since the first day. I wish I could return these immediately.

As a loyal customer of the Beast since the mid 90's. I think I had numerous pairs of each model. I could not believe what happened when the Beast 20 was introduced. The whole concept of the shoe was destroyed. I am hard on my shoes/sneakers and over pronate. While other models were always different the Beast was exactly like its name. Sturdy as possible.
With so many other models for other people to buy why not leave alone the one model that set you apart.
Very disappointing
