Love my Brooks Beast shoes!! They have helped with both knee and foot pain dramatically!. The only issue I have with these Beast 20's is the design of the sole seems to trap dirt and then release it throughout the house. My wife wants to kill me. I wear the shoes inside and out to protect my feet and help with arthritis, so I'm not so keen on walking shoe less. So, I need to take them off outside and clap them together to release as much dirt as possible before I come in the house. I never had to do this with my 2014 to 2018 models.

I changed from a running shoe to walking shoe for overpronation. Great choice which helps a lot!
I'd also recommend:
New Balance 990v5 for "running shoe".

Love wearing those, my only complain is that I need very wide and that limits color and purchase options for me!!!!

Just not as comfortable as your past products. I buy these shoes for the width and ,as I have a very small arch the cushioning is extremely important. Ive been a consumer of your products for a while, and only get about 6 months of use of the shoe .

Fit well! I got a size 14, 4E width. This sizing combo has a standard length shoe laces that are not long enough to tie. My only (non)complaint!!

I switched to the Brooks Beast when my prior brand cheapened its product. I was a heavy runner with a pronation problem and needed a solid motion control shoe. Yes, they were heavy, but I loved how they controlled my gait. My feet came down flat and square. There was no way my ankles would tilt. In 2016 the motion control was reduced a little. In 2020 it was barely noticeable. The landing feels soft and spongy, but they do not provide confidence that my ankles won't roll. I don't run anymore, but still want the solid motion control of the old Brooks Beast. Please bring them back.

I prefer older versions styling (14,18). Toe box is ever so slightly more narrow than the 18. Still very comfortable & since my Achilles tear, the low heel rise doesn’t bother it like the 14 did.

Slightly better ride than the past two pair of transcends they are comfortable and the only thing I noticed is the upper section where you put your foot in has a slightly thinner amount of material. I like brooks for the comfort during and after my run and just noticed this padding is less on the beast. Great show other than that!

This is a pretty solid shoe to run in, truly wish it wasn't so heavy and bulky. I have nearly 200 miles in this shoe, the tread is holding up well. The toe box seems to feel wider and the overall fabric feels like it's expanding. Would be nice if the next model wasn't so heavy and the shoe could be a bit more narrower. Also more color choices, please...

I order these shoes for my husband every year and he goes thru two pair a year as he is a physician and is on his feet all day so comfort is important. He loves the "Beast" model but would prefer the soles were not white.

These shoes provide excellent stability and support. I do tend to wear a toe hole through the upper portion before the soles are worn

excellent stability and cushion, a true wide shoe when ordering 4e a bit stiff but very comfortable

Great support as always, but I don't love the new top material. It's not very strong and stretches too much, so feels less supportive.

The shoe is ok. I was trying to order the Beast 18, but apparently they are no longer being made. This one seems to have less "heft and substance" than the Beast 18, but that is just an impression, not a scientific measure.

I like these shoes. Comfortable. I just wish they still made the '18. Those had more ankle support. These are fine especial when standing on concrete.

I was born with flat feet and finding comfortable shoes is a problem. This is different from people with fallen arches because any shoe with arch support hurts my feet. I normally buy 4E shoes because these seems to hurt the least, and I normally buy New Balance. These were the first Brooks I've ever tried and I'll be honest, when I first put them on I thought "no" and during the first run I kept thinking that I was going to return them. But the next day I put on my old shoes and immediately realized that the Brooks felt way better. I run 3 miles a day and the shoes feels great. I normally replace the insoles of any shoe with Dr. Schools athletic inserts - New Balance shoes in particular have thin plastic insoles. But I'm impressed by the cushion and quality of the Brooks insole and I kept those in. My last New Balance shoes lasted 4 months before the outer soles wore down we'll see how these do.

4.5/5 stars. Great shoes, big improvement except the laces- too flimsy. Bring back the old beast laces. 1/2 star off as a result.

Overall I am satisfied with the Beasts. Have put on that many miles yet but I like them. Have been using the Transcend 7 and I think I will go back to them.

Very comfortable sneaker... Wish the front toe area had better outside reinforcement coverage and a little more reflective areas on it... Thanks

I don't run. I have been purchasing the Beast for many years, and they fit my feet well and are very comfortable.

I have severe congenital pes planus (flat foot) on my left foot. I suffer from recurrent plantar fascitis in the left arch. The previous Beast model (2017) which my podiatrist at the time recommended had a shank (midsole) that overcorrected pronation and put pressure on my Plantar arch increasing inflammation and was essentially unwearable. I recently purchased the 2020 Beast and the midsole is a little more flexible allowing some pronation while controlling excessive pronation. I can wear the 2020 model 6-7 hours continuosly before my left plantar arch gets sore and uncomfotable. So definitely an inprovement over the 2017 Model but still the midsole could be a little more flexible. I find the Brooks Adrenaline 20' model to be more tolerable for longer wear periods.
