I've been a long-time wearer of the Adrenalines and like them very much. But sometimes I didn't feel stable in them. I was looking for something more stable than what the Adrenalines offered. The Beast is a very stable shoe with a " snugglier " fit around the ankles and the cushion is very good too. There is only one slight negative in my opinion, which is the toe box is narrower than the Adrenaline. Feels a little tighter in the toe area.

Motion control is vital for me. Makes every step enjoyable. Yay Beast!

First style of Books I had several years ago. Just as good if not better. Great support. Great looks.

My husband loves these shoes for everyday walking.They're comfortable right out of the box.

After wearing through my Brooks Dyad 10 shoes I tried a good amount of Brooks running shoes and most of them felt a bit narrow or didn't offer the support I like. The Beast 20 is the most comfortable shoe I have worn in a long time. Great for all day support and running support with lots of room for a wider foot.

I recently became a fan of brooks due to some foot issues I've been having. I've gotta say i love the beast series! Super supportive and all day comfort at work. I loved The beast so much i bought every color in 23 and now I'm collecting all the 20's. You make an amazing product that has truly changed my life. I've worn ugly supportive shoes before and hated them. Keep making great designs! I just ordered the new color 23's :-)

I have been wearing brooks sneakers for a year now. They have really helped with the pain I have in my feet and ankles but the Beast 20 is the first one that has taken the pain away completely. I have fallen arches which has led to plantar fascitius and a painful ankle inversion. This sneaker gives my arch the support it needs while also giving my ankle structure so it doesn't roll inward. Great shoe for anyone dealing with any of these issues. I am disappointed that the Beast 20 seems to be discontinued and the reviews I've read say that the Beast 23 is not as good. Please keep this shoe it is amazing!

I have worn the Beast through 20 Plus marathons and 5 Ultra Marathons and the shoe has given me exceptional results. No problems with Neuromas, blisters or arch problems. Gave me great balance and good traction in the mountains. When I retired from long distancing I decided to use the Beast for my hiking . Great performance on the mountains, trails and road.

I wear them to work everyday and they are very comfortable. My favorite part is the tread they offers a lot grip. I would say confidence in n every step

I'm 6-4 250 pounds. This shoe is sturdy for walking and jogging and doesn't result in knee pain that other shoes cause.

I don't run anymore but I walk alot. I needed a good shoe with support since I overpronate. This shoe so far fits the bill ! I bought one in the store, liked it and bought another on-line. The one thing I would change to make putting them on easier is change the shape at the top of the back or add a tab?

The Beast is very comfortable and has great support. I'm not a runner. I'm older and I use the shoes for everyday wear and walking!

Nice soft and comfortable. Only wear one for now. But it's support is great! Much better than any other one.

Not a runner, someday Brooks may figure out runners aren't their only buyers. None of the questions about running apply to me. I just have very wide (4E) feet, high arches, and need a shoe that fits with good support. These do that very well. Very comfortable, very good support (needed to add an orthotic for my high arches). Lightweight. Good cushioning, at least for walking, stairs, etc.

I'm a female with flat feet, fallen arches & arthritis in feet. It sucks! I live in these sneakers and have for years. I'm on my feet all day at work and these are the best shoes for me. They have the BEST support for me. I've tried the women's Ariel but the beast just has more support in my opinion. The beast 20 is perfection. I prefer the black ones, I swear they have more support than the red or grey ones. Weird I know, but I do feel a difference.

Excellent support and stability, without feeling heavy. Like the wide toe box and narrow heel for very comfortable fit. Not running due to knee and ankle injuries, so can't really speak to launch and high impact capabilities.

These shoes have been the best shoes for me for years. They fit well, are very comfortable, give great mileage and keep me injury free. I wish they were not discontinued.

Great stability for urban walking. My left foot tends to lean into ankle and this shoe has significant support to counter this. Compared to other shoes I use, this is one of the best.
