It?s the Brooks Beast. Been wearing them since 2012. Best version I?ve seen so far. For a big guy, there?s still nothing comparable. Expensive, and well worth it.

Comfortable right out of the box. Not the most nimble but hey...I run hills (vert) and the cushion coming down more than makes up for that. Times are comparable and wear and tear on my bionic hip and surgically repaired meniscus are barely noticeable. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who strives for a goal they no longer think is attainable. You will get there in these.

Been a Beast fan since the 90?s. Still one of the best-fitting shoes around for the money. It?s heavy and clunky but perfect for severe pronation like mine. It?s really the only pair of shoes I need. Very happy with my purchase.

The Beast is a great shoe! Like many other people, including my son, its the only athletic shoe I'll wear. Makes shopping a breeze. My only problem is that, after about six months, the shoes go out at once. Walking gets more difficult suddenly, never gradually, and it often takes me a bit to figure out what's going on. But new shoes feel so good!

Love the shoe. Fits as expected. Would like tongue attached as in earlier previous versions of Beast.

I?m 6? and 200 lbs. 69 years old. I can?t run much anymore but like to walk 5-6 mile daily. I have big feet and common foot issues. My size is 14 2E. I bought the Beast in my size because I wore them several times in the past with no issues. The new pair was too narrow in instep and toe box. I sent them back and ordered 14 2E. They seemed to feel very comfortable. I wore them only in the house for 5 days to make sure. then took them for a spin. I did the same for several more days. My verdict is that they are a tad too wide/loose and the cushioning is too soft. I feel as if I sink down too much when walking or standing. It doesn?t go well with a loose-fitting shoe. The length of the shoe is fine. The mesh material seems to be good but I sure wish that larger shoes had some colors other than black or gray. The 14 2E would never work for me. So, I will work through what I have until it is time to replace them.

Disappointed in the Beast 20. The wider toe box too loose less support than the Beast 18. the flat laces are a struggle verses the round ones when racing triathlons. I've had at least 20 pairs over 15 years . Sadly the Beast 20 is a downgrade. Every serious runner knows

Great shoes for walking. I have bone spurs and Tendinitis in both feet and Brooks has helped my feet recover. These were my 4th pair and I continue to be a loyal customer.

These shoes are the best ones I have worn. However, I give them three stars because the mesh around the top fronts always get holes in them, where my big toes are. Although I like these, I won't buy them any more, becasue of the holes in the mesh. They become unwearable after about eight months or so. Really a shame that the company can't do anything about the mesh covering which is probably too thin. This never happened with other walking shoes that I have purchased. It's too bad, because these shoes are very comfortable. Also know that the mesh is not waterproof, your feet will get wet in the rain. Size of shoes are 13 W (2E)
