I am 6'2" tall, weigh 200 pounds, 66 years old, have a bad ankle and arthritis in my right foot. This shoe has been terrific! It offers more support than any other shoe I've ever worn. I am on the way to buy my second pair today and may buy a bunch more! The support and comfort are just outstanding.

In addition to being too small, the inside of both shoes were dirty - dog hair etc, gross! Obviously someone else had tried these shoes before me and they had not been cleaned before being sent out again.

Bring back the Beast 18 I purchased 2 pair of them. Beast 20 horrible it's like the Adrenaline 20. I started with Adrenaline back in 2013, then in went to the Beast 18 after major foot surgery.
Please bring back the Beast 18

I honestly use them for a casual everyday use, mainly for walking purposes. They are probably the most supportive functional shoe. Usually with running shoes I tend to roll onto the outside of my foot but, these literally prevent that 100%.

As a person with flat feet the sneakers have made a world of difference. Not just running but wearing them when I can. It helps with my ankles and knees.

Feels like I am walking flat footed. Different construction than my favorite Beast 18. Not comfortable.

This is my second pair of the Beast. I am a bigger guy that averages ten miles a week. Great support and overall comfort. I have used them in all types of weather and terrain in the northeast, and they hold up really well. For me it takes about two weeks to break them in.

I hate shoes with white trim and soles. I love my old beast but my wife ordered these and never again.

The Beast is a great shoe but really does not fit my foot well. It runs small and because I had to go 1/2 longer for toe room, other portions of the fit are too big. I still wear them a lot but limit that to light walking or normal weekend shopping. The Revel fits me much better and supports me with a good fit on the treadmill and pavement running.

I've been a loyal Beast fan for a decade plus. Here's what I don't understand: Brand loyalty is usually related to dependability. If you can depend on a particular product or item to perform the same way or offer the same positive experience, comfort or quality, you will likely return again and again to that product. The Beast is not a fashion item. It is beloved tool of runners and walkers who depend on the shoe to offer reliable stability, support and comfort. I would love to know how many Beast owners are return customers. I bet the majority. So I can't understand why Brooks keeps messing with this shoe. Every year or so there is a revamped Beast. Regardless, I've more or less had the same experience with it even though I always thought - "why are they changing it, it was fine." But the Beast 20 is incredibly uncomfortable and the quality has taken a dive. The shoe feels cheaper, the fit is different (shorter in the toe area), and the tongue is also shorter so the lace up does not feel as firm. The shoe rubs uncomfortably at my ankles which has never happened before. My Beast 18s are trashed but I haven 't thrown them away as a I usually do when I get a new pair - I'm keeping them because even trashed they are still better than this new shoe. I am deeply saddened because after all these years of being a Beast fanatic, the company has succeeded in running me off. I've lost the faith and probably won't stick around to be disappointed by the Beast 21. Brooks. I'm begging you. Stop trying to invent the wheel. Bring back the old BEAST.

I buy new beast shoes every year not because they completely wear out every year, but because I like the feel of a new shoe and the shoes are so comfortable that it is worth the money to wear them. I am not a runner but I do a lot of walking and these shoes really absorb the shock of the streets that I walk on. I have one knee replacement and the other knee is bone on bone but when I strap on my beasts my knees don't hurt while I am walking or when I finish. I can't wait for the 2022 beasts to arrive. You can't beat a beast for comfort.

As I approach 81 my running days have, unfortunately, become a pleasant memory. However, weather permitting, I still enjoy an extended walk on a regular basis. That activity is only possible, however, with the proper footwear. While the Beast 20 would not be the choice to complete a fast 5K, it is incomparable for a sluggish couple of miles. The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. The only downside is that it is limited to two colors.

Love my Brooks Beast shoes!! They have helped with both knee and foot pain dramatically!. The only issue I have with these Beast 20's is the design of the sole seems to trap dirt and then release it throughout the house. My wife wants to kill me. I wear the shoes inside and out to protect my feet and help with arthritis, so I'm not so keen on walking shoe less. So, I need to take them off outside and clap them together to release as much dirt as possible before I come in the house. I never had to do this with my 2014 to 2018 models.

Although you pretty much have to use lock laces to wear these so they don't slip up and down, I'm giving these 5 stars. I don't know if I'll ever buy another pair of shoes for as long as I live. I wish I could afford a lifetime supply. I work at Amazon and I walk about 30 miles every single night, and I've tried everything from Adidas to Timberland to Hoka One One and everything in between to get my feet to stop hurting, getting blisters, and just feeling like they're legitimately broken by the end of the night. I decided to actually swap a pair of Hokas for the Brooks Beast 20 and boy am I glad I did. It's not that my feet hurt less; it's that my feet don't hurt at all anymore. I need almost no recovery time after walking THIRTY MILES. I mean I almost cried as a grown man my first night wearing them because I still had blisters from the Hokas and I was worried new shoes would hurt them even more but I literally didn't even feel the blisters. I don't even know why other shoes exist. Just throw them all away because I've tried them all. Buy these. I've put probably 500 miles on mine so far and they feel just as good as when I first got them. Amazon even buys me shoes and I opted to use my own money for these and I'm a dad that can't really spare much money. They are that good.
