I've been happy with the durability for many years now with one older and a few recent nit picks. The mesh on the toe box area wears a bit to easily, I generally get a hole fairly quickly and yes I do keep the nails trimmed. The newer laces are too short, I use a heel lock and can barely make it with length provided. The shoes have started squeaking after the first 200 miles or so. Older models did not do this. Otherwise fairly happy.

I wear a 10.5-11 depending on brand. With the Beast 20 in size 11, I was getting pain from the pressure on the back of my heel and blisters between my toes because they were so tight. I didn't realize how undersized these were until it was too late for a return. I purchased another pair in size 12 and they fir great, but the sizing is very small in these.

Great stiff-soled shoe. Like many others with halux rigidus I need a shoe that won't flex my big toe joint. These are just the ticket. Very stiff sole that resists bending - BUT still very comfortable and great to walk or job in. I add a thin steel insert under the included padded insert and it's fantastic protection and super comfortable. Great shoe. Highly recommend it to anyone seeking stiff-soled shoe without giving up athletic comfort.

LOVE this shoe. I'd bought a pair of NB months ago and after 2 months, my feet were hurting. A lot. Two months after I started wearing these, my feet healed. I'm a yoga teacher and I literally live on my feet. Grateful for this shoe!

Usually like these shoes for comfort, however this last pair has not held up. Within less than 2 months there was a hole in the toe of the shoe.

I was once a big runner, but now I no longer run. I'm a regular in the gym, and I'm a big boy, so I wanted a shoe with great support. Also, have a foot condition where 3 middle toes on left foot are painful and I needed a wider toe box. My last Brooks were Glycerin 13 2E, so I went to a 13 4E and OMG, what a relief. FTR, if I wear a Skechers, its normally 12 regular.

Not as supportive as my first Beast of 10 years ago. I only buy Beast, but I feel that each pair is, yes, getting lighter but less supportive. I do not like the flimsy material around the back of the shoe it always folds down as I place my foot in the shoe.

My feet pronate badly. This is the only shoe I can wear that sits my foot in the correct position and alleviates the pain. I wear them constantly.

These shoes fit well, but were not comfortable to walk in. The shape/design of the shoe propels me forward and puts too much weight on my toes and felt uncomforable.

Way too expensive! Have been wearing the beast for 6-7 years. Love them but you never give a deal to faithful customers. Not good. All the caring you portray goes out the windows. Take care of loyal customers.
