it is a big shoe for support. the heal seems flimsy. i know it is done so shoe is lighter but it is not user friendly. other than that it is comfortable and great support for bigger runners or those needing support also seems that need to buy 1.5 to 2 sizes larger than regular size with Brooks

I husband loves these. Brooks Beast is the only running shoe that he will wear. His size is 13. Please don?t stop making these in the black/gray color combo!

I have so many things wrong with my feet. This shoe supports every part of my foot. I use it for everything from walking, to running, squats, deadlifts, work. I hope Brooks never changes anything with this shoe besides the color. Please Brooks don't ever change this shoe or try to upgrade it.

So much better than the version 1 makes my feet feel really good and support as much if not better then the Beast original. Really good investment in new footwear.

I love this shoe... I really do. However, there seems to be an issue with quality, on this, and the last two Beast 20s, I've owned. Although the shoe offers great support (why I bought it) the fabric on the inside right cuff always seems to begin to break apart and split open after about only a week's wear! Again, this has happened with my last two pairs of Brooks Beast 20s, as well as with three different sets of new 20s that I just purchased! And this is not strong wear either, just day to day wear. While this does not affect the shoe's performance (at least I don't think it does), it does make the shoe cosmetically unpleasant and old/busted up well before it should. It looks like my shoes have been worn for a year after only a week! Plus, nothing on a new shoe should be failing/coming apart after only one week. I hope Brooks considers fixes this quality issue or else I'm going to have to look for another brand for my next pair of shoes.

The Beast has been my shoe of choice for over seven years. I use orthopedic pelite supports and the shoes are the most supportive that I have used.

great shoe. Recommended to me by my podiatrist because I have flat feet and I had a severe case of posterior tibial tendinitis. Its very helpful and supportive

Beast is the best all around running, walking, hiking shoe. I buy only Beast. Please develop a larger palette of Beast shoes and move it to the front instead of relegating it to the back of your shoes display. Go ahead and promote it.

These are great shoes and some of the best support you can get. Their only downfall is the steep price you have to pay to get them.

My husband always get nikes 8n wide but not in love with the soles. I bought him these and he loves them

I bought these based on the information from the Brooks site. I was under the impression that they would have the best cushion overall. I have to were inserts in my shoes, so when they arrived and I noticed that the extra cushion was a thicker insert I felt let down. While I am happy over all with the shoe, for my situation I will not be buying them again. I would rather but a less expensive model and use my inserts and save the money. I have been buy Brooks for the past 10 years now and I am very happy with the product even my foot doctor was impressed with them. I would love to have a bit more cushion in the soles if possible. Thanks.

Brooks Beast '20 are by far my favorite shoe. The support in them is wonderful and are the only shoes I've tried that keep my feet from hurting terribly when I'm on them for an extended time.

I've had this brand/style before and thankfully was able to order again in my size. Very quick turnaround especially since it was in the December holiday season. I am not a runner, and have some issues due to surgeries, and these offer the best support, especially since I'm a size 13/4E. I tend not to wear in extreme weather, have boots for those occasionsbut have worn them on occasion in rain and snow. I am not a runner.

I am not a "runner" but these shoes are the most comfortable shoes for me and I have been wearing them for about 20 years. Don't discontinue the "Beast". Both my husband and I wear them. Thanks.
