This is my third pair of Glycerins and they are simply AMAZING!!! With every new model, they just keep getting better and better. These require no breaking in whatsoever and they feel like you’re walking on a cloud! Brooks do run a little small, so I recommend sizing up a half size.

I've been searching for a good pair of sneakers after two knee surgeries last year, and these are amazing. I bought two pairs. Well worth the price.

I've now ordered these a few times trying to get the right size. I normally wear a 6 which was too small. I then ordered a 6.5 wide - felt too small. Then ordered the 7 wide and got blisters :o so I returned. I love these shoes - the are light and I love the colors but not getting my size down and it could be that I walk at least 5 miles a day and for new shoes that is a lot. Finally, I ordered new Bomba socks in a small which hug my foot tight and am now reordering the 6.5 Wide which I think is going to work with the new socks. Long review but I think the bottom line is these run smaller, for me, than a normal 6 wide which would be my normal. :D

Very comfortable. I went from the ghost to new balance to Glycerin.. this is by far my favorite shoe. I hope they don't change the model soon as these are the most comfortable running shoesthat I have had in years

I had ankle surgery 7 months ago and nothing helped with the chronic soreness. Then I bought these shoes and my life changed! I'm an active nurse practitioner in a busy hospital and my ankle feels great again!

I had the Brooks ghost on when I came home from work and saw my new pair of glycerin 18 at the door. I put them on right away and could tell I was going to love these so much more for the chronic running issues I have including plantar facsiitis , torn meniscus and severe osteo of my big toe joint. The top material is slightly more stretchy/ softer than the ghost and the first thing I noticed was my toe discomfort went away immediately as it took the pressure off! I also noticed my plantar fasciitis was better as the heel is super cushy and cups the heel in all the right spots. The glycerin material makes my feet a little warmer than the ghosts but I will just wear lighter socks. As most reviews say, I wish they had a bigger selection of cooler colors but overall this shoe is amazing! I finally found a keeper.

I'm a huge fan of the Glycerin and the 18 doesn't disappoint. Super cushiony sole makes for a great run or when wearing long hours as a nurse like walking on air. Love the lighter colors too! Keep those coming!

Very cushioned and supportive for medium distant runs. Great quality and overall super happy. I was worried that the size would be too narrow because I've heard Brooks run narrow. I have a wide foot and my size fit true.

Just able to start running again after a meniscus root tear surgery. Tried the Revel 3, although a great shoe, there's not as much cushioning as the Glycerin 18. So glad I also purchased the Glycerins. If you've had any kind of knee problems/surgery, I recommend the Glycerins. They made a huge difference to me. Worth every penny. Happy Running. Thanks Brooks.

Great shoe but wish they had more color options in wide width. For some reason the smooth part around the ankles wears. This has been the case on every model of the glycerin. My ankles don't rub together so don't really understand what is happening.

I've been wearing the Glycerine's for years. I admit I wasn't as thrilled with the Glycerine 17 as I'd been with previous versions of the shoe. The fit just wasn't right for my foot- too tight in the tow box but loose in the heel. I am happy to say that I love the 18! I've worn it for a few easy medium-long runs and absolutely love it. The toe box is good, and my heel feels nice and secure. The cushioning is, as always withe the Glycerine, wonderful. These shoes are perfect for easy and recovery runs.

Toe box material is very soft yet supportive. I have had several glycerine shoes in earlier models and this is the best!

Brooks have never let me down! Got these just to try a different model and I am so pleased. I used to only get the Ghost model. These glycerin 18s are even better than those! I have pretty severe knee issues and these Brooks help tremendously. I can walk several miles without too much pain. Thanks again Brooks...and Zappos for having such great shoes in your inventory!

I love the Glycerin line from Brooks. I work in a hospital, so I don't run in them, but I need extreme cushion to be on my feet all day. These are awesome hospital shoes. I highly recommend these to non-runners, who work on their feet all day.

The glycerin 18 are my absolute favorite tennis shoe. I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and these make my feet feel wonderful. I?m able to do not only my daily routine workout, but just daily life as well. Thank you!

This is the most comfy tennis shoe I have ever worn. I have a stress fracture in my knee and when I wear these I don’t feel any pain after a long day. Highly recommend!!

Super comfortable. This is the second pair of Brooks Glycerins that I’ve owned and ran in. I love them but the style and availability of color options is ugh. They have nice colors in other models, but not the Glycerin. Which is a shame. I’ll still buy my running shoes that feel good and don’t look as cute though ??????????

Love the look, and they are cushioned well, But these felt loose in the heel for me . I think I actually prefer the Revel (I ordered both to try and I normally wear Pureflow) . I think the Glycerins may be too cushy for my feet but I’m going to keep them and see how further wear goes . I ordered a 10.5 (usual size ) and they have extra room in the heel and don’t feel as secure , but the 10 didn’t leave enough room in the toe Box although the rest of the shoe fit perfectly . The Revel was perfect out of the box .

The Brooks Glycerin 18 running shoes were true to size and completely comfortable right out of the box. I was able to use my custom fit orthotics with no issues. The wide size was perfect.

I agree with the other reviews that say the Wide’s toe box is not as wide as previous versions. Thankfully the fabric stretches to accommodate my feet but I’m concerned that will be a wear point and reduce the lifespan of the shoes. Otherwise, they were comfy and performed well.

Overall the sneaker is VERY comfortable. I do wish it had better shoe laces. I wear my sneakers almost everyday and in different environments the placement of the top holes of the laces and the quality of the laces are not ideal for my foot, but it is not uncomfortable.

First time tried this version of Brooks. Always been Adrenaline for years but they have so many now and each new version of the Adrenaline changes a bit. My feet had been sore after my 4th pregnancy and I wasn't wearing good shoes during, just whatever I could easily slip on. I knew it was past time for a new pair of sneakers. I ordered my go to and they didn't help. So I went to a good running store and they had me try a few, I also did the shoe finder and this was one of them. Turns out though in this particular Glycerin 18, my regular 7.5 D (wide) was not the right fit. I had too much room so went down to 7 and after about a month realized that the width was actually still making it too roomy. Interesting and not sure if Brooks overall had become more wide, as in the past the Adrenaline was the only model that fit my wide feet and gave me the roomy toe box. These Glycerin sneakers were like being in a cloud. I went for a run and my feet didn't hurt a bit! I was so happy. I am due for another pair and pretty happy with the selection Brooks has.

I am a power-walker. Love my Brooks Glycerins and/or Cascadia. I've used both of these for years and my feet have never been happier. I never have to worry about fit, never have blisters and my feet always feel comfortable and supported. The one complaint on Glycerin is that the toe guard has been removed. Within a couple weeks I seem to consistently catch the toe on the right foot and it tears a little hole next to my big toe. I then end up with a scruffy looking shoe for the remaining life of my shoe. : (

This is my first pair of brooks glycerin. They feel great. A little more than I like to spend but they really are comfortable.
