These are quite a bit smaller than the Glycerin 17. I'd recommend going up either a half or whole size.

My favorite shoe of all time but seriously what is with the awful colors....y'all do awesome colors with other shoes and this one always has the worst.

Again, I really want to like the new Glycerin. I bought them online because I couldn't find them anywhere locally. I love the style and the colors. I can tell right away when I put a shoe on if it's going to work for me. Run right out of the box is my motto. I spent too much time trying to convince myself that they would be fine. Trying them with different socks, walking around the house...something was just off. After a while I noticed my feet were leaning towards the inside (closer towards the ankle). I have a neutral foot and run pretty even. There is no way I could run smoothly with that affect. Unfortunately, I will be returning them.

So, it's not my imagination that the 18 is not as cushioned as the 17. I tried these on today, but the store had to order them because I wanted the gray/white. I walked around a little and left the store thinking that maybe I just imagined they were not as cushioned. I did like the wider toe box. I think I am going to ask them to cancel my order and just wear the 17's until I find something else.

I love the Glycerin 15, 16 and 17 models so I was really excited to see these come up. However I'm a little disappointed... It's like they took all of the cushion out of the shoe. It's still usable... But no way can I run in these for longer distances. They feel flat and hard. :( Please put the cushion back in the next model!

Shoe ran narrow, did not offer sufficient cushioning. Sadly, I had to return it.

So sorry Brooks have changed there sizing. They have been my go to shoe for my long skinny foot. The 10.5 narrow was perfect, but now to short and a bit wider. I tried sizing up, but unfortunately the entire show was sized up, not just a bit longer. I tried several different Brooks styles and it is a no go now.

I tried these on and could immediately tell that they weren’t going to work for me. The sizing is accurate but there is a weird area that hits the ball of my foot. More so on the right now. I’ve worn Brooks but haven’t had a new pair in several years. These are definitely not the same as what I’m used to. Disappointed because they’re so cute.

After years of happy feet in my glycerins, like other reviewers I am disappointed. The trouble started with the 16s. My big toes were pinched down to the point I damaged my toe nail while I waited for them to stretch out. Stupid me, but I was that sure of my glycerins. When I realized the toe box was really different, I gave them to my daughter and, stupid again, got another pair exactly the same, thinking I had just got a lemon. Nope. The new toe design was a feature, not a mistake. But, because I was such a devoted glycerin fan -- nice snug, padded heel with comfy toe box -- I ordered the 18s. Different again. On me, generally bigger. Yes, bigger toe box a plus, but now it is overall too roomy, slides on my foot uncomfortably, even though it is the same size as always, a 7 1/2. If I wear thick sox they're okay, but now I'm done trying. Like others, the 15s were the last fit that worked for me. Frustrating.

I have never had an issue in replacing insoles with orthotics in any running shoes, except these. Super sore spots in insteps.

I've been a faithful Glycerin user for 5 year now- The 18s are a huge disappointment in quality. The usual comfort and cushioning is there, but the toe box is narrowed, and the wear and tear is seen before I even hit 100 miles. The quality and durability in these shoes is highly questionable. You can see in this picture that the white pair on the right have less miles than the blue pair on the left, but are in far worse condition. We're talking a good 50+ miles or more difference. I've been through several pairs of the 18s and am totally dissatisfied with the quality. My routes haven't changed, mostly road, and canal gravel. I run 75-100+ miles a week during the summer months. I have a 100 miler coming up and need to be able to rely on my shoes. Love my glycerins comfort and feel, but the 18s are so lacking- it's discouraging. Brooks is a great company, Glycerin is a great shoe, or was, just not this model.

D Wide isn't as wide as other D width shoes so I had to send them back. I'll have to remember to get E next time (but this one isn't available in E currently)

Way to wide and my foot slides in and out of the shoe. Wish the sizing was more consistent when getting shoes here.

This shoe has a very narrow toe box. Glycerin was much narrower than my Ghost 12s. My pinky toe was in a lot of pain as soon as I put the Glycerin's on. Why is sizing so inconsistent? It pains me having to return the shoe and creating pollution due to Brook's inconsistent sizing issues.

The Brooks glycerin has been my go to shoe for the last 8 years. It has been the perfect neutral shoe with narrow heel good arch support and a wider foot bed. The last several versions have been very comfortable but I found the sizing to be very inconsistent based on the color choice. I was excited to try these as I felt the colors were a little bit better than they have been in the past. I always wear a 6 1/2 in my running shoes which all tend to be Brooks and the black/white pair was tight everywhere. Short in length & narrow. Super disappointed

I loved my Glycerin 17s and I was excited to try the 18s, but they are not nearly as great. They don't fit the same (I probably should've sized down half a size) as well as lack the same cushion. After a week of giving them a shot, I think I will be returning...

They are not as cushioning as previous Glycerins. Also they lack arch support. I have always been a huge Glycerin fan but have now switched to Ghosts.

Was really disappointed, not in the colors as most of the reviews, although I'd love something more fun, but these were so much firmer than the 17s. I had high expectations and these were just not it for my feet. Much less comfortable than the 17s, and I had some pain not even 2 miles in. Will definitely be grabbing another pair of 17s.

What a bummer! I recently got turned onto the Glycerin 17s and they are HEAVEN for my recently injured feet (metatarsalgia). So I thought these newer ones would be even better, but the cushion is GONE! I immediately noticed they were firmer and felt nearly identical to the Ghosts. I had foot pain at the ball of my foot starting almost immediately while just waking around the house for only a few minutes in them, while I'm in the 17s all day with no issues! And, while I took a size 8 in the previous model (the 17s), the 8 here seems longer. It has the arch support hitting too far forward. And it's not really much of an arch support anyway, which I also don't like. The 17s has better arch, too. One GOOD thing is they are slightly narrower and more structured in the forefoot, which makes my foot feel much more secure. I'm may try a half size down, and maybe I can wear them when my foot heals. But...I'm inclined to just stock up on 17s. :-/ PLEEEEEASE fix the cushioning, Brooks!!! It's a serious deal breaker in this model.

My favorite ASICS no longer make narrow width athletic shoes so I thought I’d give these a try. These are not a narrow shoe at all. I had the lace done as tight as they would go and I still couldn’t keep them on. When laced that tight, they looked horrible.

It was a customer service issue - sent wrong size and they looked worn. They will fit once I have the correct size.
