I really enjoy these shoes! I usually go for a medium, but I opted for a wide for kicks and giggles. It's literally like walking on clouds. I'll take them for a more intensive trial this weekend, but I'm happy with my purchase!
I'd also recommend:
I usually buy Nike.

Great! My husband is heavy on his feet and they're great support! Mines help me to bounce on the streets! Softer landing for my knees! Love them.

switched from the Nike air max to Brooks about 3 years ago - used the 16, 17 and now 18 version of the Glycerin and love that shoe. Never going back after using Nikes since the waffle trainer.

The Glycerin's are my favorite Brooks shoe! They are the only shoe I do races in. I am a little on the heavy side for running at 185 pounds and these provide great cushion. After 13.1 miles, my feet and legs still feel good. The is not anything I do not like in the 18's compared to the 17's and these seem to have a little more cushion but are not bulky.

Good cushioning but more stable then my 16s and 17s.
Light feel great.

This has more support than my 17?s and is slightly firmer. I like a maximum cushion but the previous 17/16?s had more energy return in the cushioning which initially feels better, but was not as supportive. The 18 has a better heal to toe movement with cushioning more evenly dispersed as there is also more mid sole cushioning. As a result, the things that bothered me about energy return are gone but this still has great cushioning with better support in a neutral running shoe. It is is almost like the best of a 15 and a 17. I am much happier with my 18?s and have used them for 2 weeks. I consider this a big improvement over the 17.

Seems slightly narrower than the 17, it is more padded around the heel, almost to much though. Very soft stretchy upper, extremely comfortable. They also seem to be slightly stiffer but very cushened midsole. I only have a few more in them but I believe I will like them more than my 17s.

NB 880-V10 felt very similar in the store.

I went from ghost 12 to these. I've always used 11 ee no problem. These are incredibly narrow and actually made my foot hurt from wearing. I hate to write a negative review of Brooks but anyone thinking these are a step up from the Ghost series like I did is making a mistake. I thought they'd stretch but these by far are the worst running shoes I've ever tried on.

My shoes didn't show up through the mail. Brooks immediately sent me another free pair. I am in love with this company and the shoe. They are the greatest shoe company in the world!

Been wearing Brooks for a long time but now that I'm getting up there in age (along with my hips and knees) I realized I needed a model with more cushions. Been running with the Glycerin 18 for a couple weeks now and my body loves them!

I had previous Glycerin versions back to #12, 14, Glycerin 18 fees with more cushion which I welcome. Overall great running shoes for any level of running.

This is a softer shoe than my Ghost 12's I was running in. So far, I love them.

They feel even lighter weight than the Glycerin 17! I loved the Ghost but haven't gotten another pair of those after going Glycerin. The absolute best.

I really liked the Glycerin 17 and the 18 seem like an improvement. For me the 17 were more "squishy", which at times felt a touch unstable. My knees appreciate the cushion of glycerin, so I accepted the trade off. These new 18 seem to solve that problem. Great cushion, but feels more stable with better feedback. Very happy with these shoes.

Heavy cushion. So I a, gathering the Launch series is a low cushion neutral. Ghost is Goldilocks. Glycerin is heavy neutral. Maybe a little too much cushion for me but I'm a fan. 80 miles so fat and I'm a fan.

Great shoe -- but I understand that you've changed your sizes on Glycerin 19. Since I wear a 13 -- you're new size 13 is shorter. Why did you do that?

Brooks is the really the only choice in running shoes. Few other brands even come close. Great shoes as always!

I walk between 4-6 miles most every day. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased. Great support for my walks.

I love my Ghost 12 and 13s. I discussed with my issue of outside ware on the shoes with a Brooks Guru. They recommended the Glycerin, also because I am old and fat (my words not theirs). My knees and ankles feel so much better. The running feel isn't that much different than the Ghosts, but for old knees the cushion makes a significant difference.

The first day I got the shoes, I was satisfied with the design. And even after I ran for 30 minutes I felt total comfort.
