Very disappointed that the previously spacious "toe box" in the 2E Size of this show has apparently been reduced, so that I'm now getting cramping and pressure on my big toe. Been wearing Asics shoes for > 20 years and this pains me. Also, my previous pair of this same style of shoe developed serious tears in the side fabric adjacent to the base of the tongue within several months of purchase, suggesting poor quality control. You're losing a step in this former marathoner's view.

Been using the GT-2000 for a while now. Comfort is good. Support is great. This pair however is getting a crease on the upper at the toe. I can feel it with my toes and is a little annoying. This hasn't happened on my previous GT-2000's.

You've changed the design completely. I usually get the same size and style and every year, it's different from before, but in a bad way. I get that you want to upgrade the product but sometimes it's best if you leave it alone. I wear asics because my foot is wide and these came too big to fit perfect like they used to. Instead of sending them back and getting a new pair, in just dealing with a slightly larger shoe for my foot and I'm honestly disappointed the shoe keeps changing. if i hadn't tried to break them in and wore them for three runs, I would have returned them but I wanted to give them a fair chance. 2 star just because I think the company is great but dips themselves into the market like other brands without realizing the old shoes were the best.

I BOUGHT THESE SHOES TO WALK BUT I COULD ONLY USE THEM ONCE, BECAUSE MY FEET ARE REALLY HOT WHEN I AM WALKING. SO BAD.

I purchased this shoe in December of 2019. 5 months of moderate use (mainly walking, some running) and a hole appeared in the front mesh section of the shoe. If had running shoes that have lasted for years without this happening.I tried entering Warranty information on line but was unsuccesful after several attempts Secondly when attempting to contact the Warranty help line I have been put on hold for hours and have never been able to get through.. So I give this a 2 simply for the poor quality and the inability to rectify the situation with ASICs

great shoe as always, but the 2000-7 and now the 2000-8, it seems the toe box is far too wide. Not sure why that happened . You need to shrink the width of the toe box on the 9.

Terrible fit. The right and left shoes didn't even feel like the same product. Asics quality control must be suffering because this is not the first time I have had unwearable shoes right out of the box.

I have been running for 30 years, most of those years in Asics, and most of those years in the GT2000 (or Kayano). I have worn EVERY model of GT2000. This is the worst GT2000 ever! Asics changed the outsole, midsole and upper - in drastic ways. The outsole and tread have different flex patterns, which is noticed. The upper and toebox are too wide. The footstrike is plodding, not efficient. I would not even know these are GT2000's! Supposed to be a technical, efficient shoe that is 1 step below the Kayano in features/price. No longer. Asics has totally redesigned the shoe, it is unrecognizable. Too many changes! I have tried to make these work by changing insoles and lacing patterns, to no avail. I cannot run in these any longer - they are changing my footstrike and stride! I cannot believe Asics has ruined this shoe. They need to go back. This now feels like a cheap shoe made for overweight people who just started running. I am 42 years old and can still push out 5:30-5:45 miles. Terrible shoe!

I ordered them 3 times and you cancelled them every time without any specific reason. So i emailed your support department and i never heard back. Boo. (Shoes are probs good but i never got to try them).

They didn't fit like ALL of the other 4E's that I own, so I sent them back. Would love this style if they fit as good as all the other Asics shoes I own.

Been wearing the GT2000 since it's inception. Never have had any problems, At All. When I put on the 7's, they fit like a glove. Immediately these hurt my feet. Bummed. At mile 4 of my first run, took them off and ran in, in my socks. All things must come to an end.

Toe box is narrow Shoe size is smaller than usual

The GT-2000 8 size 9 is much larger than the GT-2000 7. The foot bed is also flatter and less flexible.

I have always bought either GT-2000 or the Gel Keyano and had no complaints, but having bought these last year, i have had nothing but trouble. The stability is nowhere near as good and i have had sore knees. The laces do not stay tight when pulling to tie up, which means there is a struggle tie the shoe to get the stability and lastly, the lace holes are weak and are breaking. I have tried to mend but to no avail. Very disappointing and i'll rethink buying another pair of asics

The shoe is too narrow for my foot, especially near the toes. And my heel doesn't fit very well, it feels like there's a crater in the sole and my heel sits on top of it. I tried on the shoe in a brick and mortar store and then bought online. It felt fine in the store, so I'm not sure why the shoes that were sent to me don't fit as well. I will only buy in person from know on. C'est la vie.

Too narrow, and pinched in the wrong places. I do have wide feet though
