Excellent ride, but the shoe fits big for me. I'm usually a 10 in Asics GT-2000 but had to bump down a half size and could go down even a full size. Something about the new design adds more room in toe box. Thanks!

Love the shoes, do not enjoy the color (Construction Yellow)

These are great trainers. Super comfortable and light. My shoe size is 9 UK and I was worried they would be tight because it said to order one size down but fortunately I didn't listen to that.

Fit is perfect! As I got older my feet changed - Asics worked with me in getting the right fit!

Substantially different from the GT 2000 7 model. Every time there is an update, it impacts my gait. Otherwise, more flexible.

Fits more true to size than the previous versions. Hated the shoe the first 20 miles, because it felt so stiff, but after this it broke in and is now feels great under my foot.

Very comfortable. Feel a bit lighter than previous models. Have run a couple of 10 mile runs so far and these shoes have been comfortable and provide the stability I need straight away. They feel very slightly larger than previous models I have owned (GT4, 6, and 7) but so far have not caused a problem.

Ran in the GT series for about 20 yrs. Some versions better than others. Good to see the new shoe has longer laces than some previous. Time will tell how the heal cup holds up. This version is better for my sticky out ankle bone, so a definite plus.

I've been running on GT-2000's for years. They fit me really well. I have to use the 4E x-wide shoe and I've put many miles on them. I just wish Asics would make the 4E x-wide in the fun, colorful versions. Hey Asics, can you fix that? Would you make the wide shoes in the colors too?

the width is perfect and the overall comfort is good but the counter lining is too low that the shoe slip out of my foot while walking.

I have run on GT 2000's for years. It has been my go to distance shoe for 30 - 40 miles per week. This current iteration has a plastic Asics logo on the lateral aspect of the shoe right at the position of the 5th MTP joint. The difference between the flexibility of the mesh and the stiffness of the plastic logo puts direct pressure on this bony foot prominence. I have normal foot anatomy without significant prominence in this area. I have never had an issue with previous versions of this shoe, but after about 30 miles of use (as well as 3 days worth of all day wear to try and break them in), I will be getting rid of these shoes because of this issue. The arch support, cushioning, and support for my over pronation continue to be great, I just can't deal with this design flaw.

These were fine for my son as he has been wearijg them without issue for 6 years now.

Fits okay but the color seems much lighter than the picture on-line.

Shoe fits well and is comfortable and light weight, however, it doesn't seem to have the stability of other pairs I've had.

Not a true fit related to width. I have always purchased the 4E due to its width. A little disappointed

I have had at least 3 pairs of GT-2000's but these have a weird crease running lengthwise between my big toe and my index toe. They are still good for running but the crease is slightly uncomfortable when walking.

Needed to buy a new insert for the shoe since the one that came with it wasn't very good

Very cushiony feel, but the width is a bit too narrow.

Felt smaller than the other gt 2000. Not as cushioned as the gt 2000 trail. Felt cheaper over all.

Good heel support, but feels a little narrow. Love the color.
