First of all I have terrible feet to fit. I have the Birkenstock Arizona and it fits fine. I thought I would go for a bit more style. I was leary about where the straps would hit as they are closer to the front of the foot than the straps on the Arizona. Sure enough my suspisions were confirmed. The sandal over all was fine. The straps for me just need to be higher on the foot. It was more like a flip flop and it just wasn't secure enough. They unfortunately had to be returned. I have tried two other styles also with no luck so, plan to take a break and reacess before ordering again. Kudos to Zappos for their return policy.

So glad I got these! It's getting harder to find Birkies in regular width. I'm a D width (US 7 1/2 W or Birkenstock 38 regular) and can't wear all of the new women's styles that come only in narrow. These feel wonderful on my feet and are really flattering. I also like the Mocha color Not sure if the Birkibuc synthetic leather will hold up as well as genuine leather, but it's soft and comfortable. I recommend these if you're looking for a pair that are more feminine.

Absolutely love unfortunately I think straps are a little too low on toes. More toes shown than preferred. I have cute feet still don’t like to accentuate the middle toes. They do seem to be on the wider side of normal. Recommend highly!!

I absolutely love these. I was hesitant based on some of the reviews, but I have had. I issue with them. The straps are farther forward than the Arizona style, but they don’t feel like they flip when I wear them. They have been just as easy to wear in as every other pair of birks I’ve had. People have already complimented the cute style.

The color is off, very dull and unflattering.

I’ve had the Madrid style before & they ended up aggravating my little bunion. Trying the Yao, so far so good. Fit as all birks do. I’m always a 39, so thanks Birkenstock for your consistency. Style of the shoe is nice

I really like these. However, the fit was a little off. I tightened the straps to the next hole but that made it too tight. Also, maybe a little wide. I order the same size as my other Birkenstocks. If I had been in a store, I would have tried on a smaller size to see if that worked. Sadly, I have to return them.

All the mounds in the sole (where it meets my foot) do not match with my feet. It was very uncomfortable to walk in. Perhaps if I could have ordered a wide 5-1/2 size it would have made a big difference, but that size was not available.

I'm a big fan since 15+ years! They run large, I always get 1 size down. I love these new ones, much better than flip flops, very good arch support. Comfortable and cute!

My daughter lives in these birkenstocks and rarely takes them off. They hold up to everything she's thrown at them.

These felt like all my other Birkies over the years. This pair replaced a 40-year old pair of Arizonas that had been rebuilt so many times they were beginning to be uncomfortable.

Right out of the box, these were really comfortable. I’m used to the way Birks feel so it didn’t take any getting used to for me, but it might for someone whose never worn them before. Getting the “regular” fit vs. the narrow made a HUGE difference. I have flat feet, so the narrow, which most Birks come in, don’t feel as good as these do for me. Pretty much eliminated any breaking in period! Regular fit is harder to find in many styles, but from now on, I’ll make sure I hunt them down. I LOVE the style of these... almost like an updated version of the traditional double buckle... has a little something extra without being too much. Definitely recommend!!

Love the look of this style! They feel good on my foot, after having tightened them. But they are like flip flops when I walk, which is not what I am looking for, so I have to return them.

These are my very first pair of Birkenstocks. Before narrows were available I felt the excess width made my feet look huge (I’m already a size10/10.5) and felt awkward, but the narrow option felt much more comfortable for me. The straps are very soft and the buckles don’t jam into your toes when you walk. And I love this style of straps!

I was surprised that the narrows fit better than regularly sized Birkenstocks. I wouldn't categorize myself as having narrow feet; I would say I have average to wide feet. My feet are sliding forward a bit which bugs me, but overall they're cute, fun and affordable. I can wear them to the pool or to dinner.

Love this style. I had Mayari for years but these are my new faves! I'm typically a 6.5 and I always order size 36 in Birkenstock and they fit perfectly.

I love these Birks! They are my first pair, I wasn't sure if casual sandals are worth the $100 price, but I am not regretting it after wearing them for a whole summer and into the fall. They wear amazingly, the soles have no wear at all. I did order the narrow width, which fits more like a regular width. I also did get their cork sealant as well on the suggestion of a friend who had the footbed crack due to the cork getting wet then drying out.

Very comfortable and great support. I wear a 6.5 and the 37 (6-6.5) fit perfectly with the help of the adjustable straps.

I love the look, and overall fit of these EXCEPT the width. I bought these in regular fit/width and they are more narrow than my Arizona’s in narrow fit/width. You can see in the photos that my foot lays over the edge at the arch. The width of the rest of the shoe is perfect, but they’re much too narrow at the arch. I do not have wide feet or have ever required a wide shoe, so this is a first for me, and all of my other Birks have fit normal. Disappointed and undecided if they’ll break in and be fine, or if I need to return them, because otherwise I love them.

Unfortunately these did not work for me. I have bunion issues at the toe joint and this sandal hits right on that spot. The Birkenstock Florida sandal was a better choice for me as it has 3 skinnier buckle straps with a gap right where the toe joint is.

Yet again Zappos was outstanding for customer service! Thinking a delay was understandable given the virus problems, I hadn’t received my order after 2 weeks. I called and they were great. Sent out another pair immediately which I received in 2 days. After trying them on and walking around the house, I realized Birkenstock’s are an acquired taste. They were not comfortable at all. That was the shoe, definitely not Zappos! I kept trying to like them but no dice. Cute but not comfortable for me. I called (stellar service) and got the label to return. Several days later the original order arrived, after about 3 weeks. I was a little confused but one phone call straightened the whole thing out. You just cannot beat Zappos and all the cool people that work there. I will order again for sure! Thanks friends for an amazingly easy transaction.

The size felt fine but these were terribly uncomfortable! After wearing them for 1/2 day my feet were very sore. I know they have to be broken it and I've been trying to wear them more often but they still hurt my feel.

Love these!!!! Debated on this style and SO WORTH IT. I sized up since I have super wide feet and adjusted the strap for a better fit. Normally I wear a (US 7) 38 but I ordered a EU39.

I absolutely love my Birkenstock Yao in Mocha ... they are very comfortable. I have been putting off buying some good sandals, but I did and I sure am GLAD I did!!
