Customer Reviews New Balance Fresh Foam 1365

Prior to buying these shoes I had 2 pairs of the Fresh Foam 1165s and loved them. I tried to buy a 3rd pair, but couldn't get them in my size, so I bought the Fresh Foam 1365 thinking that they would be similar. I was SO wrong. I have walked 28 to 35 miles a week for years, mostly without any issues, but the first time I wore these shoes the balls of my feet were killing me. It was so bad I went home after 2 miles and changed into my old shoes and went back out. Then I figured maybe I had to break the new ones in, so I started wearing them for shorter walks. That did't work either. I started having cramps in my feet. I have never had these before in my life. Not sure what is wrong with these shoes, but they are going in the trash. I'd return them, but clearly I wore them and the website says they have to be unworn to be returned. What a waste of money these were. .

I have never had a pair of shoes beat my feet up as badly as these shoes did. The heel box has a hard plastic piece on the exterior for reinforcement. Inside the heel box, there is zero padding. I mean none. The outer mesh material is simply glued to that hard plastic. I got horrid, horrid blisters after one walk! Had purchased several new balance pairs of a different style several years ago and loved them, so I am horribly disappointed in this purchase.

I wanted to try walking shoes. I like the ones with foam, those work better for me. I find that they have more support for the front of my foot mostly because I put more weight on the front when I walk. These shoes have an insole that can be taken out the insole is thin, zero support.
