I like mine! Grippy (on these Arkansas sharp and loose rocks), comfortable, and good looking. These are not lightweight trail runnersthey are mid-weight hikers: I like that because I am not able to feel the rocks on the bottom of my feet like I have in lighter weight hikers.

Breathable, comfortable, sturdy. The Merrell boots I've had in the past have lasted very long!

These are very light weight and durable. I hiked through a creek bed with these and they gripped the wet rock surface like glue. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Merrill's are my favorite shoes by far. They look great and, because most of them come in wide width, are very comfortable (size 14 wide is hard to find). I just wish the laces would be 2 inches longer. The shoe itself is very sturdy and very well made. Just like the Merrill's I bought before, these will last me a very long time.

very light weight and comfortable! I read other reviews that said they run small. I bought a half size up and they fit perfect!

Not quite sure how this pair is different than my usual Moab's. But, they work just fine at the gym, and on my walks. Very comfortable with my orthotics.

I was just trying to get a good shoe at a good price, wide enough for my bunions and not toooo masculine (hard to find good fitting shoes for big footed female that don't look like ugly clodhoppers ;-). A little bit too much ventilation for regular winter wear. I imagine if I was hiking, the extra ventilation would be appreciated. They do feel awesome other than that, and a nice looking shoe.

Can hike all day without feeling you want to take them off when you get to the car. Then wear them out to dinner because they look great.

I really like my new Yokota 2 I have always worn Merrell Moabs and just wanted a change. So far I've been very pleased. I had read other reviews that they ran small than normal sizes so I ordered a half size larger and they are perfect.

My job keeps me on my feet all day, probably walk 5-7 miles/day just at work. Needed a great fitting shoe that will be easy on the feet. My Yakota 2's are just that. Fit my size 13's like a glove, breathable during the warm summer months. Feet never got hot, feet never got sore or tired. Waay better than running shoes, and obviously great for summer hiking too. Highly recommended! These are not waterproof, but I will buy another pair of waterproof Merrells for the winter/spring months.

I have always bought cheap work shoes. This time around I decided to get a top notch brand shoe. Just lacing them up I could feel the quality and sturdiness. I have flat feet and I can totally feel the arch support and will not have to buy inserts. Still breaking them in, but love then so far.

I wear a 12 in most other brands, had to get a 13 in thes,e so beware of sizing online. Order a size bigger! Overall they're a ferry different feel from the ASICS ive had for 10 years. I expect these to be my main non work shoes for being out in the yard in general. Would recommend so far!

I bought my first pair of Yakota shoes 7 years ago, and I still have that pair. These new ones are of the same high quality as my first pair, so I guess I will keep these for another 7 years.

As someone who has struggled to even find correct fitting wide shoes the Yokata 2's slipped on with no effort getting my feet into them. I did upsize them a 1/2 size and so far I'm happy that I did so, even though I would have been OK at my standard size (I wanted to experiment with a little more toe room). Build quality is excellent, which is what I expected. Ankle cushioning is light to moderate and ventilation is excellent, which is what I wanted for humid summertime walking. Laces are on the longer side which I like as someone who double knots every time I go out. Overall this is an excellent shoe that fits extremely well and functions as a walking shoe should. Build quality is solid without adding a lot of extra weight. I've already decided that I will be purchasing a 2nd pair shortly. I typically dog walk 4-6 miles daily (with 8-10 miles a day on the weekend). I've also found that they are an excellent shoe for mountain biking as well.
