Bought these for myself for Christmas. Needed a black pair of boots and have had a pair of brown Frye harness boots for years. I've worn them twice and they've already started to soften. Absolutely love them!!!

I bought this boot in black in my normal size 9 but it was a little snug so I exchanged it for a size 9.5. It fit perfect! The leather is soft and beautiful. Gotta love the leather smell. They felt great right away and I wore them for a few hours the first day. No breaking these babies in as they were comfortable the whole time. The heel is just right and gives a little lift while still being low enough to wear for the entire day and still be comfortable. The cut of the boot is western and feminine. LOVE LOVE LOVE these and now have my eyes on the caramel color!

I bought these and was skeptical about the calf size as I have very slim calves. They fit me the same as the Melissa's and are perfect with jeans, shorts or dresses! Beautiful color and great quality.

Earlier this year, I invested in my first pair of Frye boots - the Carson piping tall boot - and fell in love immediately! The color is so sumptuous and the boots are so well crafted. They fit incredibly well and true to size. After obsessing over the Carson in black, I've finally pulled the trigger and am so glad that I did! I love the piping detail & how nicely they fit the silhouette of my calf. These are a MUST HAVE pair of boots. I love them!

So many boots worn and tossed or given away because they hurt! These fit as though a private shoemaker was hired. I ordered a 10, which is my usual size in shoes and boots. They were so comfortable day one as well as great looking.

I have 15.5-16 inch calves and this fits my calves perfectly with pants. I love them and it's true to size. They are a bit slippery at first because there really no traction. However, that should change over time. Overall a great pair of boot and worth the investment.

I'm a fan of a nice soft leather feel and this boot certainly has that. With the zipper, they're very easy to get on and off but provide a nice snug fit. I have some gap at the top, but much less than many I've tried. Overall, these just have a really nice feel to them and a great look on. I'm especially happy with the heel height, high enough to allow the look of a heeled boot, but low enough for all day comfort. Just an excellent boot!

Amazing fit... I have a hard time finding boots to fit my thick calf's!!! Great quality leather with comfort!!!!

I purchased these while visiting Denver this summer. They had just arrived at the store and I instantly fell in love! Very comfortable and the leather is gorgeous. It's now fall here in PA and I'm loving these boots with skirts and skinny jeans. True to fit and width.

Wide calf shaft circumference for size 8 is approximately 16 1/4".

I just got these today and I'm in L-O-V-E! Super comfortable & true to size, not to mention absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I got the Caramel and the color is well represented in the online photo This is my first pair of Frye boots and they did not disappoint! They fit perfect aside from being tight in the calves but I know they will loosen a bit in time and fit perfect. They look SO cute with a dress and denim jacket. Can't wait to try them with leggings and skinny jeans once I break them in a bit.

These boots are super comfortable right out of the box. No need for break in time as I thought there would be. The design is simple but classy and go with all outfits. I worried about sizing, especially buying online, but they are true to size. This is my first pair of Frye's, and it won't be my last.
