Very comfortable

It's a beautiful boot, the exact aesthetic I was looking for. Unfortunately, Frye does not make boots for wide feet. I was concerned even with a break-in period, the boots would not stretch enough to make it comfortable to wear. Perhaps a half size larger would fix the width problem, but I had plenty of toe room. Basically, it's cost prohibitive chancing it might fit months from now. The widest part of my foot (toebox) is 9 in. BTW, if you have average sized to narrow calves (mine are 12.5in), the top circumference of the boot does distract from the sleek silhouette of the boot.

Beautiful boot, with elegant silhouette, very feminine and graceful. Fits TTS. High quality leather and finish as expected from Frye. My only wish is that the calf circumference was larger - I have athletic calves that are slightly >16 in, this fits only just, will need to stretch it a bit for more comfortable fit. The difference between regular and wide size calf circumference for this boot is only half an inch - not nearly enough. Otherwise perfect.

I really love the look of these boots and debated keeping them, but the calf is just so large that it looks a little ridiculous. Really wish the calf were smaller or they made a narrow calf option.

I just got these in the mail and I'm so upset. I've wanted a pair of Frye boots for years and finally bought some. I have a wide muscular calf and these don't even come close to being actually wide calf. I put them on with only knee high nylons on and they wouldn't zip 3/4 way up. I'm so sad I have to return them. Very disappointed. Frye needs to make a TRUE wide calf for their boots.

I just bought 2 pairs of this boot. They're beautiful but the soles have no traction , super slippery-and I'm walking around very gingerly in this fall weather afraid I'm going to bust my bum on wet leaves.
