Perfect fit. This reminds me of school shoes when I was a kid. I disagree with others that there is no break-in. They fit very snug when they're new, but with no hot spots. Perfect sizing too. With a little wear and light wool socks they totally form to your foot. That's because they're made SOOO well; like a men's high-end dress shoe (but cuter). I can count on one hand the number of favorite, go-to, super supportive and comfortable shoes I've had in my lifetime. I'm adding these. At 5X years old, I'm getting practical and switching over all my shoes (beautiful shoes, by the way...I love shoes!) to comfortable, stylish, wear-all-day, walk-a-mile footwear. I now have three pairs of SH and I'm not done yet.

If this shoe had a more prominent arch support, I would consider it a perfect shoe. It comes quite close to it though; the fit is true to size. I saw the reviews that claim the shoe runs large, however, they are true to the European sizing chart (with or without socks). There is no break-in, since they are comfortable right out the box. Great padding in the foot bed, and classic styling. My goal is to grab the Tasseled Traveler as a second pair, they are worth every dime.

I love these shoes and got them in blush with is really nice. Dresses up my jeans at work. I wear a 9 and it was a pretty good fit. They have a little room, but not enough to say they are too big. Comfortable with no break-in required.

LOVE the look! Exactly what I want, but just too snug in an 11, and they don't go bigger. An 11 usually works for me, but not in this shoe :-(

Cush and comfortable. Could walk for miles without any 'breaking-in' time. One drawback is that I have a high instep and these are just a little snug. Wearing with socks around the house to loosen the instep.

I purchased Samuel Hubbard Traveler in Blush size 7 my regular size. The shoe is beautiful and made with great quality, however seemed to run very large (both long and wide) and unfortunately had to be returned.

I really like the classic look of these shoes. They are beautifully made, but fit too narrow in the toe box for my foot. I am wider in the forefoot with a very narrow heel so shoes that are more pointed tend to be a problem. I was so disappointed they did not fit.

I could literally cry that I had to return these. I received today and they are GORGEOUS! Worth every penny and perfect for all you patent leather penny loafing lovers! Fit was good except hit my ankle bone and couldn’t wear and take the chance I would return since expensive. What a pretty comfortable shoe. Sob.

This Shoes are wonderful. They fit perfectly right out of the box. No rubbing on the heel or anywhere on your feet. They feel substantial, but not big and clunky. I wore them all day to meetings, and my feet were completely happy. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for!

Great shoe. Classic look with nice detailing. It is very comfortable and fits perfectly.

Overall this is the right size, just on the edge of snug. I’m hoping for a gradual stretching out. I have issues around the area of my Achilles’ tendon with shoes that curve in toward the top too much and these do that a little, but feels like they’ll ease up. A beautifully made, gorgeous, classic shoe.

I’ve never spent this much money on a pair of shoes but it’s clear that the workmanship lives up to the price point. I’m finding these days that rolled up jeans are my standard so I wanted menswear styled loafers to wear with them. These black loafers are classic and contemporary at the same time and fit superbly. I’ve never had such a beautifully crafted shoe.

These may run a teeny bit big--but I'm wearing them barefoot. These are awesome right out of the box. Beautifully made. They are the first loafers that I've tried in years that don't make my very large feet look like cruise ships. Wish they came in every color. Worth the money!

Really loved this shoe, but had to return as I wanted to wear socks with them. As they were leather, I feel they would stretch out a bit, but not as much as I would have needed.

My closet is full of 9.5 and 10 M/B width shoes. This very beautifully made shoe is a true size 10 and allows ample room for a thin sock. I am on the fence about keeping these as the style makes my feet look very long. Some other shoe styles do not do this. In terms of comfort and quality you will not be disappointed with these well crafted loafers.

I got the patent leather pair and love them. They’re perfect for fall. I got the 6.5, my true shoe size and they fit well at first, but as the day goes on they become more snug. I’ve worn them a hand full of times and need to break them in. The leather, materials, and craftsmanship is superb.

Love the shoe-it didn't love me. It's just that my foot is just a little too wide.

These shoes are so cute, comfortable, and very well-made. I ordered a 9 1/2 but I need a 9. Unfortunately, they are sold out of 9s in pink.

I agree with another reviewer- they look a bit masculine. I also find them to be too narrow in the width. I wear a 7.5 US. Otherwise the material is beautiful and looks impeccable.

They look very masculine and they look (they are) long compared to any other loafers that I own. Very stiff sole and not comfortable to walk in. Hoping they break in eventually since I’ve already worn them.

I am generally a US size 8.5, but Euro size 38. These seem to be well made and extremely comfortable. I decided to return and get an 8. I typically do not fit US 8's, so I think they run a little big. The heel was loose. I plan on wearing them to work and in airports.
