It's a nice bag, but awkward to carry as it's just too tall. Construction seems very solid, and the materials are nice. The lime green lining is really cute, and the overall style isn't bad for this type of bag. My big issues were the backpack straps; the description on the manufacturer's website says they're removable, but the Zappos description is correct. They're sewn in at the top and not removable, although you can undo the bottom attachment point and conceal the straps behind the luggage pass-through panel. The problem is that because the straps are nicely padded and comfy, they are also bulky, and make the bag about 30% thicker when they're tucked away. So it's functional as a backpack, but weirdly puffy as a crossbody or shoulder bag.

I ordered this item and the Sherpani Prima AT, both in copper and wow, I am very pleased. I was planning a trip to Europe and I wanted something secure that I could use on a daily basis. I originally ordered a PacSafe crossbody, but it was too small to accommodate my iPad Pro, nor would it hold a water bottle, so back it went. I, somewhat reluctantly, after much online searching ordered these two Sherpani products. I thought, okay, I will give up some of the features that PacSafe offers, and order this. At least it has RFID security. When I received the items I was very pleased to discover that the bottom and straps of each are reinforced and ‘knife/slash’ proof. Additionally, the zippers ‘lock’, there is an anti-theft chair cable and there are not only two water bottle pockets on the outside, there are two on the inside as well, all with nice stretch. There is a pocket that fits my iPad Pro. I only wish that the description listed all of the features, because I would have ordered these products the first time around. (And that cost me my $25 Zappos incentive, because by the time I was done hemming and hawing about what to order, the coupon expired.) I would use this item as a day pack and the smaller crossbody for money, room key, ID, phone, etc. small, but very functional. I do find Sherpani products priced a little high, but the quality is exceptional. I am very happy with this purchase. Trip to Europe will have to wait until Covid-19 pandemic ends. When it does, I’m prepared.

I purchased this backpack to use as I commute to work on the train. I end up doing quite a bit of walking around the city during my workdays and this bag is amazing. The straps are contoured and cushioned which makes the bag very comfortable to wear even when walking for while. I love that the zippers lock which eases my mind about theft. I also love that there are so many useful pockets! I highly recommend this back pack.

I am a bag lady. This is my favorite of all the others I have tried. The 2 outside pockets are the most useful. 1 for phone, 1 for wallet. The interior holds all I need and my 13" laptop when I travel. The luggage pass-thru is a rare feature in bags like this and so welcome! The adjustable shoulder strap can be short enough that I can reach all I need without removing from my shoulder and yet long enough to wear over puffy coat comfortably. The water bottle slip pockets are actually deep enough for a normal water bottle, again, rare feature and applauded. I love this bag!

I bought the Sherpani Soleil AT and the Sherpani Camden as options for a new work bag. I eventually chose the Camden as it was bigger in size. There were a few things I would have taken from the Soleil and added to the Camden namely the taller water bottle sleeves (more secure), the backpack straps (more comfortable positioning) and the front pockets (easier to access). The Soleil was just too small and I preferred the sleeker styling of the Camden. For reference daily bag contents: 13 inch laptop, laptop charger, moleskin, toiletry bag (medium in size), electronics bag with phone charger, mouse, etc. (small in size), stethoscope, wallet, phone, Bluetooth headphones/case, 26 oz insulated water bottle, sunglasses/case.

I absolutely love this bag. It’s stylish and practical. It is now my go to bag.

Perfect a spot for everything- excellent for those with lots to carry even if not using it for the work place.

Just a fabulous bag, even better in person, I will use this for travel forever!

This bag was exactly what I was looking for and worth every penny. I wanted something that could be carried crossbody or like a backpack but didn’t look like a backpack. It isn’t bulky when the straps are tucked away. The organizing pockets are great and the water bottle holders are big enough to even hold my shakeology cup!

Love this bag!! Is perfect for flying - fits under the seat. Backpack straps hide away easily and dont take up too much room. Bigger than my last Sherpani tote.

I ordered this bag to replace my computer brief case. It is perfect to hold my laptop and some files. I use the backpack straps to carry it, and it feels very light on my back.

Was looking for a 3 in bag that I could use for multiple jobs. I can use for travel, work and use as a moms bag. Lots of pockets & great color. Best of all very secure .

I have carried a backpack for years on personal and work travel. I got a new job and decided to try this bag. So much better! Room for everything but not the vast pit of junk Id accumulated in a backpack. Perfect!

Ive been looking for a bag that could easily switch from tote to backpack, holds a large amount of things, still feels slim and streamlined, looks good, has good pockets, two water bottle holders, and is comfortable to wear, - and I seem to have finally found it!! I have had this bag for about a month and it has been perfect so far. Very very happy to have found this bag.

I have been using this bag daily. It is so comfortable, the way its made it keeps everything organized, it has place to put your water bottles/drink and the laptop sleeve feels like it keeps my laptop safe, it has a thick padding that makes me feel secure about placing it there. It holds up comfortably when you attach it to a rollerboard as well.

Just back from Rome & Barcelona! I use this bag as my personal bag on the planes, and wore them into both Rome and Barcelona on my back! I was warned four times by people who were local to each city to be careful of pickpockets, I work with confidence because it is too much work for a pickpocket to bother with! And yet, when I wanted to get into it, I did not find it difficult to access. I packed it very full for the plane, with my liquids bag, my jewelry, all of our travel documents and a change of clothes. I loaded it much more lightly touring the Vatican, the Colosseum, The Forum and more in Rome. Barcelona, I was comfortable wearing it on Las Ramblas, and was not worried about sheltering in a packed crowd when it started raining. I did leave the shoulder strap at home, which was a big regret of mine, but the backpack was comfortable for full-day wear.

I purchased this bag years ago now. It has traveled with me all over the world containing my laptop, cords, and much more of my travel equipment. In fact, it has often been heavier than my carryon but it handles it all beautifully. It is lightweight, professional in appearance and has ample pockets. The side pockets are stretchy and versatile. They hold a variety of sizes of water bottles. It cleans off easily. Its durable. Recently, after years of service, the top handles have started to wear. Its amazing that it other than that it still looks s good as new. Im not ready to give I up on it yet. It has been the best backpack/purse I have ever had. Im so glad they still make it. If mine ever wears out Im going to need another one.

This is the travel bag I have been looking for! I can fit everything I need in it and yet it is a small convenient size to fit anywhere. It is stylish and my husband like using the bag for his stuff.

I love this bag. It is classy enough for work trips, fits under the seat easily on planes and has plenty of room for my devices.

After traveling for two months through Egypt and the Middle East with my Shepani Soleil, I can honestly say its my new favorite personal item and will be bringing it on more trips abroad. The anti-theft features are so important to provide peace of mind and I love being able to carry it three different ways. The pockets help keep me organized and its big enough for everything I need including my mirrorless camera and tripod. I cant wait for my next trip so I can use it again!

This bag is a traveling must-have! It feels like a well-traveled woman took notes on all the things she wished she had in a bag and then made it. I say "woman" only because traveling as a femme person carries certain anxieties and stresses, and this bag seems to have thought of all of them. The material is sturdy and I like the simple clean design. The organization and features are so convenient that I'm bringing it to other places besides the airport. I hope to enjoy this bag for a long time.
