Very light and nice fit at ankle. Purchased medium width, should gone with wide. Gave my son the medium width and I purchased a wide. Otherwise happy!

Not true to Danner traditional sizing. I have 2 pair of older Danner 8,5 D that fit perfectly. These are tight and short.

These hiking shoes surprised me because they had what I would call a "foot form fitting insole" that fit like a glove. They are so comfortable. These shoes run true to size, 10W; and are VERY comfortable.

I usually wear 10.5 and I'm somewhere between normal and wide. After reading reviews I ordered 11 wide and I'm pretty happy with fit. I probably could've got 10.5 wide and they fit maybe a little better but just depends on if they stretch or get wet and shrink a little. If i had to order them again I would order 10.5 which would work best in summer with thinner socks and the 11's best in winter (thicker socks!) Not sure why people are crying about hard to get foot in, just loosen strings and no problem. I like them a lot so far!

I have many Danner boots. I wear a 10 1/2 and medium width. But my foot is rather narrow and in the 2650 I wear a size 11 and the width feels perfect! So I would have to say for the average person they run small and narrow, but a brilliant hiking shoe!! Super comfortable, lite with superior grip. I enjoy the mid for a more secure fit, but the height doesn't cut into your ankle like some lesser brands. If your borderline narrow, this definitely is your shoe.

Love them nice and light for the Spring

Size 10.5/D is very comfortable and well-fitting, even for my somewhat narrow feet.

Fits well and seem to be a higher quality boot than most.

This is my second pair of the dusty olives and my sixth pair of trail 2650 mids. I work on a golf course and they work great for what I use them for. My boss just bought a pair and loves them. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

Been wearing them to work and so far they are great! They will get a real test in 3 weeks when I travel to Scotland!

I bought these based on the sale price. I was so surprised by the extreme comfort that I quickly purchased another pair in darker color.

Love These. Tried to buy the brown ones, but did not have my size. Most comfortable shoe I own and have had in a long time. Danner does it again.

I've been hiking for at least 50 years (if not longer), and the Trail 2650 Mid 4" GTX is, by far, the best hiking boot I have ever worn. Right out-of-the-box comfortable and like it had been form-fitted just for my feet! I did have to order this in a man's size since this style is not available in a woman's wide (c'mon, Danner - women (and their feet) come in ALL sizes and widths!). The traction on this boot is fantastic, and as an older hiker, very much appreciated. My husband and I have been doing a lot of hiking this spring in TN and KY - and it has been a very rainy spring! However, these boots are definitely waterproof and I just plow through the creeks, puddles, and streams knowing my feet are going to stay dry. By the end of our hikes my feet are usually a little tired, but sore they are not - and THAT is the wonderful difference between a Danner boot and every other hiking boot I have worn! So when we do the R2R next year, my wide feet will be firmly (and comfortably) planted in my Trail 2650's. Thanks, Danner!

Finally a shoe wide enough for heavier socks.

Fine and lightweight with good support on ankles and a decent sole even when on a rocky trail
