Inside seam was not the same on both shoes. Right shoe was not a flat seam which put extra pressure on the foot. Qualify Control failed. I have multiple pairs of Danner Boots and shoes. Was very disappointed in the Quality Control.

The craftsmanship is top-notch, but the soul of the shoe is too soft

Shoes are really well made and look good. Comfortable to walk and hike in. They are comfortable right out the box no need to break them in. Really happy with them and would buy them again.

By far the best all-round hiker Ive ever owned. Almost as soft as a running shoe but plenty of support and sole stiffness on moderate terrain. Never stop making this shoe!!!

Good looking trail shoe. Small amount of break in time. But all and all good fit.

I really was looking forward to the arrival of these pair of shoes, but I couldnt get my foot in them without a bit of a struggle. The distance from where the tung is secured to where the heal sits was not a large enough space to access the foot bed, even with the laces undone. I also gifted my Brother a pair of these style although in a much larger size and he indicated that his fit perfectly. Maybe mine were just one of those things that happens from time to time. Anyway, I have 4 pair of different styled Danners, (one pair going back to 1999) that Ive enjoyed tremendously. I will be giving Danner another chance down the road I suspect. They look like they would be nice light boots to wear. I had a hard time getting my feet in the shoes, and I don't think I'll wear them so I'm going to send them back. I usually wear the 600 boots that I love, but was looking for something lighter for the summer.

Looked like fine boots and they might have fit if I could get my feet in them.

I use light weight hiking boots for work. I work outdoors through all the seasons and have many brands, Columbia, Merrill, Vasque. All have had some level of break-in, and different levels of quality, not these. Comfortable from the get go and are well made. As I get older foot comfort is important, I can wear these all day and my feet feel great.

Fantastic Hiking shoe/boot. Very lightweight and comfortable. I cant wait to really break them in on some mountain trails!

Great hiking boot that is comfortable and rugged. I normally wear and 10 1/2 or 11 and had to go with an 11 wide. I would size up a little if unsure.

I just got back from a 20 mile hike on the Appalachian Trail. The boots were very comfortable for the most part. I have one problem on the left Foot after about 15 miles the shoe wore in such a way That it felt as if there was a rock or a stick under my foot. I examined the shoe to see if there was any sticks or rocks in it. And I could not find any the problem was with a seam that goes on the side of the shoe. See picture. This scene put pressure on the pad of my foot and would not give. The result is my foot is bruised because I had to continue walking five more miles and these boots. Have you come across this problem before? Do you have any suggestions of things I can try to solve the problem? Other than that, these boots are great.

They are so conferrable i love wearing them all day

The shoe prorated inwardly but it should be OK; only time will tell.
