The midweights are great for colder temps. More cushion and warmer. Great design.

God, I love these socks.

My husband was very pleased with his birthday gift of new socks especially when he found out about the life time guarantee. He has size 13 feet so his toes pushing out of socks is a lifetime problem. Hed asked for socks. If only I could get some that would last, he said. So he will wear these hiking and daily as a biologist at work. Thank you Darn Tough.

The socks are perfect thickness for what I use them for. I love the cushion padding. I own 5 pairs of these.

I am a volunteer caretaker at a cabin that takes a steep 3 mile hike to get to. . I was so amazed to see our outhouse on socks!! I love the art and the humor behind these socks! But, I also love the socks themselves. Comfy and I know that I will get years and many miles from them before they go to the great sock graveyard in the sky. When they eventually wear out, I gladly buy more!

I always enjoy getting a new pair of socks from Darn Tough. My wife laughed when I shared with her anecdotes from customers attesting to the extended period of time they wore their socks. By then I was wearing mine for four days. It's still the cusp of winter here in northeast Ohio, so I picked up another pair (my ninth) of midweight crews to wear with my Oboz hikers. I put them on the next morning, put on my boots and went rock hunting in the woods. Sweet.
