I have other Merrells and needed a plain pair for work. These were exactly what I wanted but the right shoe was uncomfortable and felt small. I should get the replacement pair soon and I'm hoping for the usual good fit.

Need a more flexible entry. Larger side elastics or opening

Since they are not available in wide I bought what I thought would fit, but alas, no. They are too narrow and I will be donating these.

I miss my other Merrell shoes...they look similar to Dassie stitch but still not quite comparable. My previous ones had the over lap look on top of the shoe. The foot bed was excellent for my heel spurs. Just a life line for my feet. Please let me know if you have a shoe that is the same with the contoured heel insole....would be greatly appreciated...Thanks. Jackie

Not exactly sure what this shoe is made of, I cannot find any reference to leather inside the shoe or on the box other than Made in Indonesia. It has a dull finish and is easily marked, scuffed, and spotted. I purchased the Kinetic Fit insert for added comfort. I have worn them around the house all day on the weekends and they are light and comfortable. Due to the finish this is not a shoe I am comfortable wearing in public, and with the dull finish I do not expect they will hold up in the rain/snow/salt without getting further marked and stained. I like the shoe; it looks great in the picture and I had hoped the other comment similar to mine about the dull finish was exaggerated but it is true.

Although I like the style, the leather on the uppers was dull and seemed unfinished. I tried polishing and although it did improve the appearance, they are unusually prone to scuffs. I will try applying more coats of polish and hope that will help.

I really thank the Merrell/Speery Corp. for replacing my shoes that were defective. I have always had good shoes with Merrell. They've walked around the globe with me. Newer shoes though appear more narrow and smaller. Regardless, I recommend Merrells to anyone!

I feel that the quality of your products has lessened. My other pair of Merrels have split at the seams after wearing them for a month.

I don't like the shape of the foot bed. The shoe is not flat, it goes up at the toes. This is uncomfortable. Then there is the fit. Merrell is inconsistent between shoes. Nine months ago, I bought jungle mocs, in 6.5. They fit, but only just, meaning too small. So I bought these in 7. They're huge! In this shoe, I would be 6. I won't be buying online again...

This looks like a very well made and good looking shoe - but it is not wide! I could not fit my feet into the shoes at all and will be returning. I wonder if this is what would be considered "C" width. I have particular wide feet and usually need a "D" width. A woman's shoe regular width is usually "B". I wish the spec's were more specific regarding width. How wide is "W" ??

There is little to no arch support. I have two very old pairs of Merrells and as an educator on my feet all day, I put shoes through a workout. These new versions have a cheaper inner sole and absolutely no support. I have had to go to my Abeo shoes as my back and knees are sore from trying to wear these. Outsourced and cheaper. I will be looking for another brand.

Way too small. Shoe must run small. I have always loved other Merrell products

Did not fit the same as all the other Merrill shoes that I have purchased in the past. The shoe rubbed uncomfortably against my ankle bone and were returned.

Size up!!! I ordered my regular size 9, and these shoes were like vice grips on my feet. The leather is extremely rigid - there is no flexibility or softness in them at all.
