Love these shoes! Perfect for work or casual wear! So comfortable

comfortable and functional. There are times that I need something a little nicer than my running shoes but I still want shoes that are comfortable and provide support and stability. I LOVE these shoes. I can wear these with dress pants or jeans and they look fabulous. They are easy to get on and off which is also important to me.

I've owned Merrell shoes for 25+ years and have come to rely on them as high quality and comfortable shoes. The Dassie Stitch is no exception. I've mostly worn the Encore/clog type Merrells and after wearing the Dassie Stitch will be hard pressed to go back to the clogs. The Dassie has all the comfort of the Encore, but with the added stability of a closed shoe. If these came with memory foam they would be the absolute perfect shoe! I'm glad I made this purchase and will purchase them again. The additional purchases are not because the shoe wears out - they will last forever, but I do manage to scuff them up quite a bit and eventually want a fresher look.

Love these shoes so much that I bought them in brown and black! Great for people with plantar fasciitis! Love the support from these shoes. I wear them everyday to work!

I'm usually 9 to 9.5. I got 9.5 and it fits like a dream. Zero break in time. Perfect for work, going to grocery story, chasing behind the dog. Not the sexiest shoe in the closet but def most comfortable and supportive (with classic merrell base). I will probably send a pair to my super picky mother next!

First pair of Merrill's! Great look for a casual shoe - comfortable to wear all day. Have always heard about value of Merrill so looking forward to enjoying for a long time.

Merrell shoes always fit perfectly to my feet but these slip ons also slip on easily and stay on. They are also nicely lightweight.

I have this shoe in black and in espresso. My daughter has them too. They are so comfortable - even after hours of standing or walking in them.

I bought these for everyday wear with jeans and casual outfits. They fit snug, but I am hopeful they will loosen up a bit with wear. Love the sleek look!

This is a beautiful shoe and I know it will last a few years of constant wear. It is a bit tight to get on but I know that will relax soon. It is a bit higher up the foot than my previous Merrill shoe but I love it's quality and look.

i have strange feet. they duck out and are big...nearly ANY shoe, except Birkinstocks eventually end up hurting. it doesn't matter if i try them on first or not...and more often than not i can feel the pain somewhere when i try them on, thinking somehow it will go away as the shoe stretches. a late friend of mine kept telling about Merrell's, so after years of trying other shoes, i finally bit the bullet and bought a pair---online, which has so far been a total disaster for me with shoes. Unfortunately, i couldn't find the Dassie Stitch anywhere here. Some of the reviews said it fit small, but the next half size was sold out. They arrived. I said a little prayer and then tried them on...oof, hmmm they weren't going on too easily, but i recalled that it was a snug fit. I walked around in my house with them for a good 2 hours in case the tightness didn't go away, and wallah...while it was still snug, my feet did not protest. I've since worn them a good 10 times and they feel like old friends. And they look good on me too...woo hoo. I plan to get a brown pair and some walking shoes next. maybe a gift to myself on my birthday in 2 weeks...;-) I am spreading the word about Merrell to all my middle aged strange feet friendgirls. I needed a semi-dress shoe with a really stiff sole, as I have pain in my large toe joints. These look great for work and I have virtually no foot pain while wearing them. The style is appropriate for a large range of settings, from walking on smooth trails to wearing with pants for just about any work or social event. Really snug - I never have to grip with my foot from a feeling of sliding around in the shoe.

I needed well made shoes with a good instep and these fit the bill.

These are good, basic, sleek slip ons. Less clunky than a traditional clog, which is nice for my size 11 feet. They are comfortable and a good basic with leggings.
