After first hike, the shoes were stiff and not supportive

I've worn them for the first time today and after a day me feet absolutely reek! All my other shoes are Merrell and I've never had that happen,

I just got mine after ordering a different pair that I love. I got these in the mail and the neon pink stripes on the side are maroon and not even close to being neon anything. Will probably send them back. Very disappointed.

None of your shoes fit me comfortably I've tried 3 d8fferent sizes, bith reg and wide, and now i have to return all.of them. Im 65 yrs old. I cant afford all of this return.0istage. I need 7 labels printed please

The shoe looks nice, but the soles were already coming unglued from the upper part of the shoe. And the sole of the shoe is ver firm. I had hoped after a month or two of wearing the shoe, it would break in and the sole would soften and mold more to my foot, but that hasn't happened after 7 weeks of almost daily use.

I have this shoe in another color and love it. But the oyster/rose just looks dingy. Comfy but after wearing one time a friend asked me about my "old sneakers".

These black sneakers look great in the picture. However, after trying them on, I found out they are not only uncomfortable but also the sole squeaks as you walk. No and no.

I'm a longtime Merrell customer. I've worn and worn out a bunch of Merrill's. Ordered these in black and threw out the packaging immediately. Turns out that they are far smaller than previous Merrell purchases of the same size. I will be sending them back IN PROTEST. I don't expect a refund because I wore them around the house for an hour. Did not keep the paperwork. Merrell also needs to know that the quality of their shoes has gone downhill. The sneakers that these replaced developed holes in their mesh fabric after a year of wear (soles looked like new). And the current color schemes! Not all of us wish to walk around in clown shoes.

I wore these on a day-long trek, and there was some light rain for about an hour. These shoes absorbed the water like sponges. I had to wring out my socks after, and I didn't even step in a puddle.

I expected these shoes to be very comfortable. They are not made for walking long distances. I regret my purchase and will not buy from this brand in future.

Falling apart after 3 weeks. I guess Merrell isn't good quality any more. Good to find out on a sneaker rather than more expensive boots. I'm never buying Merrell again.

After 35 minutes of walking, my Achilles began to hurt. I have never had this before. I was wearing an Orthodic as I always do. As they are Merrells, I did not expect this.

I have been very disappointed in the Alpine Sneaker. The shoe did not hold its shape, even upon initial wearing. The shoes feel filmsy, not supportive. The sole design is grabby. They are not the quality I have learned to expect from Merrell shoes. I won't be buying Merrell shoes again.

I have worn many pairs of Merrell shoes over the last 20 years or more. In fact, I have three right now. For some reason, no matter how I tie these shoes, the left one slides up the back of my foot ever time I take a step.

They hurt my feet and don't bend well. I don't wear them. I walk five miles a day and I thought these would be dressy and utilitarian. Not. They live under my bed.

I want to love these! Unfortunately, I've rolled my ankle twice now in these shoes. The base is too narrow. It needs a more substantial sole so that if your heel strike isn't perfectly aligned, your whole foot won't roll.

Purchased this shoe to trail walk. I was looking for good traction in a light weight sneaker to walk uneven and hilly trails in Panama. I have been a Merrell fan for years, so this brand was my go-to. I had never seen a sole like this one, so walked around the store in the shoes for a bit, just to test it out before making my purchase. I would highly NOT recommend this shoe. Although my time in the store was fine, once I hit the trails I found this shoe very wobbly. I have never experienced this kind of instability from a Merrell in prior purchases. When I contacted Merrell with the issue, their response was prompt and courteous, but I'm stuck with a shoe I can't use except indoors on flat surfaces. Merrell calls this a "comfort" issue, but I would call it a stability issue and wonder what other customers think about this sole??

I was so excited to try these because of the rave reviews here but unfortunately they were wrong for me. The tongue is way too stiff and digs into my ankle. When I first tried them on I noticed but then thought maybe they would break in, so I wore them for a day. Bad mistake, because now I can't return them and my ankles are bruised. Super disappointed in Merrell and this design

I love how colorful and how comfortable these shoes are. Having said that...I've had them for about 3 months, don't even wear them everyday, and when I do, I only wear them for 2 hours max., but already there is a hole in the right inside heal that goes through the material and the padding to the leather. The left shoe is not as bad, but getting there. This is not the quality we are used to from Merrell and unacceptable for a shoe in this price range!

Super stiff sole; it's like wearing a foot cast. I think a lot of people are cool with that degree of support or even looking for it, but it was the opposite of what I was looking for unfortunately. Otherwise comfortable enough. No fault to Merrell - it's just a lot of shoe.

I wanted to love these, but sadly had to return. At first I thought the sizing was bizarre, but even after trying my true size and a 1/2 size down, my heel slipped no matter what sock I wore. I have never had this issue with shoes in the past. I returned them in the store and we tried different laces, a heel insert, sole insert and the employees couldn't figure it out either other than the same shoe in a different material had a totally differently padded heel. I loved the look of this shoe so much! So bummed they didn't work.
