I really wanted to like these boots. I've been looking for a mid-calf boot with support. Waterproof is a bonus. However, the band around the ankle where the zipper pulls up dents in and rubs the ankle. I thought I had a defective pair, and order a second pair. Same problem. Oh well. I will keep looking.

These would be perfect if they made the ankle area bigger. They are very tight at the ankle and hard to slip your foot into. Once on, they are very comfortable. I have large calves, and I can zip them up over jeans. They are a tad snug, but will loosen up with wear. I have the encore Kassie, which is similar to this boot. I wear them in the rain, and with wool socks in snow. They are fully waterproof. The Kassie has a slightly better fit, but I like the style of these Andover Peak boots better.

After ordering a 7.5 that was borderline small I tried the 8. I think it would have worked but the outer aspect of the heel support rubbed against my ankle bone. I'm in between the sizing of this boot.

Arch support was very comfortable. I met up with resistance when putting on the right boot and felt pressure on the top of my foot. The left foot was great. Loved the design and materials. Wish they would have worked out.

I wear shoes size 7 to 8 with a borderline wide width. I purchased a 7.5 and an 8. The 7.5 felt good once on except for two issues. The heel of the right boot offered too much resistance when sliding the boot on and the top of the boot above the arch of my right foot was a bit tight, leaving a pink spot where the pressure of the boot had been. I wore them around the house, trying to loosen the boot just enough to make it work. Wish I had been successful.

I really hoped these would be just what I needed. Sadly, I have to return them because they were too tight on my calves.

These boots looked so cool in the photo! Not so much in person. ?. The faux leather doesn’t look or feel good really not worth the price. Merrell you missed the mark on these. ?

Once I was able to get my foot in, the length was a true 9.5. The problem is getting you foot in!

Overall these were great but after nearly falling twice on wet floors I had to return them. Odd that they are waterproof but the soles are so slick you'll fall.

I was disappointed today in the boot I just received. I was really hoping to like it because I wanted a waterproof boot for a trip to Ireland I am planning. I know Merrell boots are usually great and afford a lot of comfort, so after reading the reviews, I thought these would be great, but they are not! They are not comfortable! From the moment I put them on, I knew they would not work for me. I wear a size 9 shoe, but always order a 10 in boots. The boot felt too small with the toes feeling like there were rubbing against both the sides and the tip of the boot. And they weren't cushioned at all. Very disappointing for the price! Also, they were a little wider at the top and not as stylish as I had hoped, so I am returning immediately. Sorry Merrell but you got this one wrong!

The soul was not as comfortable as I was expecting maybe if I would have broken them in but I didn't have time for my trip wore them around the house but still did not find them very comfortable

Cute boot, but they run very small. I normally wear a 6.5 and ordered a 7, but that was too tight. They are difficult to get on and off as well.

I really liked the look of these boots! Unfortunately, I couldn't even get my left foot inside. As some of the other reviewers mentioned, the opening seems tight. I struggled to get my right foot in (but managed to do it), but the left was a no go. Very bummed because the look was exactly what I was hoping for!
