The boots are slightly more casual then what I was hoping for BUT they are incredibly comfortable so I'm keeping them!

Years ago I had two pair of Captiva boots and I adored them. This is supposed to be a return to that style but they’ve cheaped out. The buckle is plastic now, which was a disappointment. The elegant double strap on the Captiva is now one thick strap. The once elegant shaft is now too wide. They fit fine and I wear them all over nyc comfortably, but I’m really disappointed and miss the Captiva boot. It really was perfect— sleek, pretty, waterproof and comfortable. I so wish they would go back to that style.

These are beautiful boots. They have good support too. Unfortunately they were slightly big so i felt like they were rubbing up and down a little when i was walking. Also, they made my feet sweat-probably because they are waterproof. I decided to return them. Too bad, they would have been a nice pair of boots, it is so hard to find something that is comfortable and fits properly.

Disappointed. I have a brown pair that I bought several years ago and I LOVE them. These were just sorta OK. Looked rather clunky and didn't have much shape. I returned them :(

The foot was tilted just too much. I felt like my toes were being crowded and my heel couldn't quite reach the back of the boot. They are beautiful to look at though. Had to go back.

The shaft was too big for my calves, flaring out a good inch and a half all around even with jeans tucked in.

I liked the idea of having Merrell boots, but they fit weirdly. I wear a 7.5 in almost every shoe I've ever worn, and ordered that size. The toes were tight, but my heel was slipping up and down when I walked. So, somehow these shoes were both too big and too small at the same time? I have completely "normal" feet. Sadly, I had to return them. I really wanted them to fit, because of the low heel and waterproofing. :(

I really wanted to love these boots. I have an older brown pair that are very comfortable and I wanted a black pair as well. However, the zipper bends and digs into the inside of my ankle. It was very painful just walking around the house for a few steps. I don't know if I got a fluke pair but I'm not willing to try again. I never had this issue with any other boot. They were comfortable otherwise and really cute. Bummer.

It's way to talk and the boot hits the back of my knee. The footbed is great and I wish they came in the mid height with no laces.
