Ordered 7.5 in the tan color. Recommend size up 1/2 size at least for thick socks. Pros: Nice looking winter boots, liked the tweed (with tiny flecks of other colors, hardly noticeable), seems quality made with a good non-slip sole. Have a soft lining in the shaft & a very thin inner flap that would help make the zipper area water resistant & the insole is removable. Cons: I have 14.5” solid calfs & was able to zip them up prob. due to some help by the elastic bit in the back (which blends nicely) but I’d have to wear my thinnest material skinny jeans to be able to wear inside the boots & the top of the shaft ended at the thickest part of my calf (I’m 5’-4”).

I was needing a boot that was a bit more stylish but also warm and with good support for walking several city blocks at a time. These are perfect and I have had several compliments about how nice they look. I did order a 1/2 size bigger after reading other reviews. They are just right with a nice pair of merino wool socks.

I was really hoping these would work for me. Even though the toe looks round these felt very narrow. I am a 7.5 wide and the 8 felt like a 7 lengthwise and the width felt like a regular size that runs narrower. I have full calves and just barely got them zipped up around skinny jeans. Sad to send them back. They are gorgeous. I ordered the black color.

I am a 10.5 or 11, ordered an 11 and it fit great. I have very large calves (14.5-15") and these were "pull on" boots for me with plenty of extra calf room. It was exactly what I was looking for - easy on/off but not "slouchy".

I usually wear 7.5-8. So I got an 8 and it was really tight width wise so will be returning. Cute boot but not for my feet.

I really loved these boots - but the strap across is too tight because I have high arches. I am an 8 and tried both the 8 and 8.5. So sad to send them back!

I love them!!! Wore them already in CO where there was snow on the ground. My feet were warm and happy!

Had to send back 7.5 and order size 8. Maybe my feet are getting larger. First time I’ve needed an 8. Super comfortable. And I like the style. Perfect with jeans and skirts. I wore a pair Andover Merrells boots for 3 years. Finally wore them out. Really do like this defined heel (short .5 inch) much better than the wedge like sole on the old style.

Beautiful boots. I have wide feet and these boots are way too narrow for me and felt a bit small. Please make more options for wide feet merrell! Sadly I have to rett

As somebody else mentioned, these are not great if you have a high arch: the top of the boot is too constricting. They did however seem to fit my wide feet in that dimension, and seemed like they would be great winter boots.

Comfortable, good grip on icy patches, keep my toes reasonably warm!

These are a smart-looking pair of rain/snow boots. Great grip and look amazing with leggings. I had to return as I had to choose between two pairs and these were too close to a pair of Sorrels that I own. I am a size 5 with a narrow foot and they fit true to size.
