I was slightly skeptical about these shoes when I ordered them, partly because they were less expensive than others in the same category. I absolutely love these shoes. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. My feet no longer tire after a long period of standing. They have become my "go to" shoes for every day occasions.

I really liked these shoes design! They are light and comfortable and they don’t make my feet look huge like most hiking shoes. I really loved this shoes and they were a reasonable price for the great quality of this product. Can’t wait to have a lot of hiking adventures with my new shoes !

I've worn Columbia Sportswear hiking shoes for ~20 years and haven't had a pair since I got Rx orthotics for flat feet in 2018. What a joy it was to find these. Comfortable right out of the box. I had just purchased new OTC orthotics from The Good Feet Store (WONDERFUL!), so I tried them out on these shoes. I went for a half hour walk and was happy and relieved to be back in a pair of Columbias again. Shoe shopping since I got orthotics has been a series of hellish disappointments. Now I have a good pair of hiking shoes that I can wear any time (the only shoes I've been wearing since I got them last week!) and can put my Yaktrax on them when things get icy! Now...to find some snow shoes...

Wore them hiking for the first time today and was pleased. Comfortable, no pinching or rubbing anywhere. The way laces are done helps keep them tight around ankle to prevent heel slipping up.

I've been looking forever to find a new pair of hiking shoes and have tried on more pairs than I can count. I was willing to spend any amount knowing I'd have these shoes for years, and had sort of overlooked the Columbias because of their low price. At my husband's insistence on their comfort, I tried a pair. They are the pair I am going to keep out of the 10+ pairs I have tried on. Here's why: they are very light weight and feel breathable. There's room in the toe box and my toes don't feel squished after a few minutes (for example, the Oboz felt ok when I first tried them on but after wearing them in the house for a few minutes started to pinch). What I didn't like: there's not much support going on for the arch and the insert is flimsy. Turns out that problem is easily solved with a better insert. So I didn't give them 5 stars because I had to add quality inserts myself, but otherwise the shoe makes my feet happy.

Very happy with these! Lightweight, comfortable out of the box, well-made - a terrific shoe, especially for the price!

They were the size I was expecting. They are more comfy than my old ones from Columbia. I will be hiking in them soon. Thanks!

Updating my original review--I exchanged the Redmond V2 for a half size smaller but they were still too big....not sure why the sizing in this Columbia shoe is different. Thanks so much to Zappos for their easy return/exchange process, excellent customer service!

This shoe had reviews that stated the arch support was moderate. It has NO arch support. Otherwise shoe was good.

Size down unless you will be wearing very thick socks. These are so comfortable!

Very comfortable hiking shoe. A little too large but still stays on my foot well. Wore them for the first time hiking yesterday and they were great.

Very comfortable right out of the box sturdy on rocky ground good on wet surfaces. Keep feet dry and warm. Would buy again

I am using Columbia brand for over 20 years and have never been disappointed with their shoes. I loved their look, but felt narrower.

These shoes fit very well. Just as importantly, I can now hike on rocky terrain without slipping or bruising the bottoms of my feet. Very happy ?

I've had trouble with Keen shoes coming apart at the back of the heel and grating on my heel so I decided to try these. I'm a 8, so I'm very happy with the fit, width, I'm medium width and arch support is good. They are a comfortable shoe. I live in Colorado and walk dogs everyday of my life in all kinds of weather. No these aren't for blizzards and deep snow but they'll be awesome for walking on dog paths and in woods, spring summer and fall. also price is right!!

Nice comfortable shoe. Time will tell how they hold up in the long run.
