My 5 year old hiking shoe was screaming replacement and I was in search of a near pair. Buying shoes for me is like going in for a haircut - no matter how many times I have done it before, there is nervousness and what-ifs in going for the next! So, after I tried out 3 pairs of Columbia hiking pants last year which stood out both in terms of comfort and quality, I thought this should be my default shoe choice! My expectations were met well both in terms of quality as well as price. I'm excited for this pair to run another 5 years before I go in for the next new model of this product!

I do a lot of yard work in a terrain with lots of rocks and thorns. These shoes work perfectly. They offer protection but still allow me the flexibility to easily move around. I would buy these again.

This is my second pair of Hiking boots from Columbia. Going to be doing a lot of hiking this Summer and need comfort, water resistant and of course something that looks good! I ordered my true size 8 and I feel like I have plenty of room for even a heavier sock. Watch out Glazier National Park, here we come!

I tried this shoe on at sporting goods store and found I needed a half size smaller. Fine with me. I ended up ordering the size and color I wanted - hoping it would fit, and it did! Extremely comfortable, great support and looks great.

These shoes run big so order a half size smaller to avoid having to exchange

They're good but I think they could have a better arch

I am a true woman size 9.5 in shoes sold in the USA (Sperry Top Siders, Dolce Vita boot, Nike sports, Columbia Drainmaker, etc.) and before buying those hiking shoes, I read the reviews from other customers (thanks people !!!!). Many people said that they run small, then I bought 1/2 size larger (10 women`s), cause I live in Punta del Este, Uruguay, and I have no chance to return the shoes, in case they don't fit perfectly. Really Columbia Redmond Women`s run small. The size 10 fit ok, but my husband`s boot (Redmond waterproof) were bought at the same time as my Redmond shoes in 1/2 size up, but unfortunately they were tight, he needed to climb from his true 8.5 to 9.5 that fit well. They really run small !!! You are warned

They feel floppy and too big and they are my size. It almost feels like they've been worn by someone with bulky, wide feet. I am going to try putting on really thick socks to see if it helps at all.

Nice comfortable shoes for walking, but they get dirty very easily. On the second use, I walked in a couple of shallow puddles. The splash was apparently enough to reach the blue inner lining at the top. Although my feet stayed dry, the inner lining looks dirty at the top and won't come clean easily.

I liked this shoe as it was sturdy, yet stream lined. I was going to add a good liner with arch support. I ended up returning them though just because they run very long and I probably need a 9 or 9.5 instead of my normal size ten.

Nice looking, suggest to size by 1/2. I agree with other reviews, very little arch support but think orthodox or insert would help.
