This coat looks nice on the picture that is displayed but it looks so much better in person. I feel special wearing this coat and it feels so soft and warm. It is a very comfortable coat that will keep you warm. It is very stylish and you will look very nice wearing it, you will stand out. I did not think it would look as nice as it does in person, but it looks way better when you put it on. This is my first choice for a coat for any occasion.

I just received the gotham in tnf red XL I am 5'7" 230lbs with a little bit of a gut and the jacket fits really comfortable nice and puffy 550 goose down. by far the best jacket ive ever owned. I walked a mile in 15 degree weather wearing just a t shirt underneath and kept me super warm the sleeves are slightly short for someone that would be taller I would assume but fit just fine for me I would recommend this jacket to anyone. and looks amazing

I bought this for my Dad as a Xmas gift and he love it, and I have one really similar Jacket for few years and love it~ super comfortable and warm! I recommend this jacket for anyone who want to get the warn Jacket, this is a BEST one!!!! go get it!!!

I love this jacket. After many winters of wearing shell jackets with fleece liners I finally decided to get a more stylish boomer type jacket. I tried jackets from MEC, Canada Goose, Patagonia, and Marmot. The Gotham just fit better (for me anyways). I commute back and forth (from work to home) on the bus and this jack does the trick. It keeps me warm while outside and I don't over heat on the bus. I love all the pockets, hood and cuffs. Another solid product from The North Face!

I purchased this coat for my husband as a holiday gift. He loves it. This is such a great buy. The coat is better in person. I purchased online & it is a great fit. I read the reviews & took advice from previous customers to go larger in size & I'm glad I did.

Bought this jacket for my adult son for his birthday. Knowing what a 32 year old likes I was a little worried. He loves it. We have already had our first dose of winter and he said its best jacket he's ever had. It looks great on could wear it everyday casual but also nice enough for an evening out. My other son is now asking for the same jacket for Christmas. The only negative is the sleeves could be a little longer but that's not a real complaint. I think the best thing about the jacket is that it is so warm but not heavyweight. Easily packable as the box that it arrived in didn't look large enough to be a jacket.

This jacket is great purchase there two things I dislike about it. The inner lining looks like it can be damaged easily so be careful with this item. This does not seem like rough and tumble coat. It does however do the job immensely well in keeping you warm. second thing...the pockets the side ones suck. There is very little room and if you think this is like most North Face products where you can carry half the living room in your pockets. For the price its a great buy.

I will give you some facts about the warmth of this jacket which I thought were severely lacking in some of the reviews I read. I researched it for a while and couldn't quite get what I was looking for but then caught a great deal and decided to jump on it. I've had 3 days of deep freeze in Winnipeg and I can tell you first hand, this thing has been great so far. Its -26C (-33 with windchill) today and I wore it with nothing but a t-shirt underneath and didn't so much as feel a chill. In fact, I got half way to work and realized the heat wasn't on in my car. This is my everyday winter parka and for that use, I couldn't ask for anything better. I'm 6'3" and found the sleeves and bottom in the L too short and a little snug around the arm pits. I went with the XL and while its a touch large, it's much more functional that way than a touch too small. My only complaint is the snap on buttons for the bottom pockets. Would be nice to have zippers on those pockets so you can safely store keys in there. Other than that, unless you live in a climate colder than Winnipeg, I can't see needing anything warmer than this.

I purchased this for my 17 year old son for Christmas. I gave it to him early and he love love loves this jacket!!! It is extremely warm and the colors are perfect together!!! Super Happy!!!

After years of buying coats and jackets solely based on looks, I decided it was time to grow up and look for a coat that would actually keep me warm in the cold Michigan winters. I was so stoked to find this coat by The North Face because not only is it extremely warm, it looks great as well! It was just what I wanted. The thick outer is durable and waterproof, and the down insulation is the warmest thing I have ever worn. The selection of pockets make this coat very useful for anyone with a large EDC collection. The only (minimal) downside is that the sleeves are just a tiny bit short for me. But not so short that it is uncomfortable. Other than that, this jacket fits great and has been keeping me very comfortable now that winter is here.

Best jacket ever! Keeps very warm, is wind and rain proof. On top of that it's very stylish. I always have a hard time to find the right jacket that combines all those things ! But look no further if you are thinking about getting this jacket let me just say you will not regret it! I know it's kinda pricey but quality cost in life and if I think about it I would of payed more because there are some models that cost even more but don't have the hole package for me warm,rain,wind,style = Best jacket ever! Get it now before they don't make these anymore and then you will be sorry. Happened to me once but not this time. I'm Happy :-) Thanks north face for this one!!

Hands down one of the best jackets I have ever owned, if not the best. It is very warm and stylish, I have only had it for a few weeks now but in that time have recieved numerous compliments. Very happy with my decision to get this just before winter!

i love this coat. I wear a tshirt underneath when i go outside and dont feel cold. Highly recommend this and definitely got lots of compliments on the look

At first I never would have expected or thought that I could receive such a warmth,soothing,and incredible experience from a cool looking jacket. However, the sensation that I got from it was like being wrapped around with a warm cloud along with a very trendy look.This jacket is definitely worth buying.At the places I have been to with the jacket people have completely complemented how warm and beautiful the jacket looks!I am absolutely satisfied with my purchase Thank you "The North Face".
