For cold winters

I bought this for my boyfriend and he is obsessed with it. We were at a football game I was bundled up and freezing and he was comfortable in just his jacket barley layered. I am now looking into buying one for me. So lightweight and fashionable. Super comfortable.

I really love my new coat. I got a size up, because I am from Alaska and we bundle up. But this coat it so warm, so far I don't need to wear any extra layers. I do wish that the wristband was tighter. But otherwise it's really comfortable. I had to buy a guys coat because you don't sell any warm coats in 3x for women. I own 4 size 2xl and when I bundle up the arms and chest are too tight when I zip up. I can't wear enough layers to be warm enough and you don't sell a 3xl in anything I like that is warm in women's. But I do love the black men's Gotham jacket III. It's an awesome coat!

I love the fit at the waist and sleeves. It is comfortable with a snug enough fit to keep the wind and cold out. The hidden face shield in the hood is an added bonus.

I bought this jacket for my teenage son who has an allergy to the cold. I am very happy that it keeps him so warm! He loves the style, multiple pockets, and built-in neck gaiter. We looked at several other companies, but came back to The North Face because your products are so high quality.

This coat is very warm and stylish!!

I have been looking for a coat for a long time that was affordable, stylish and warm. While those things don't often go together, I was very lucky to find this coat. I would say I would by again but with the lifetime warranty, I'm not sure I have to.

I have bought this jacket twice (different sizes) because it's that good.

I use this coat to stay warm in the Michigan winter. Great looking coat that's definitely thick enough to keep me warm but doesn't look too bulky. Sleeves and bottom of the coat tighten to close around waist and arms which helps a lot with warmth. Great coat all around.

A little bulky. Warm and comfortable.

I was finally tired of buying cheap coats every year and not always keeping warm. Where I live it gets pretty cold and the wind will really cut you. I finally made the decision to invest in a good quality coat that I can get some years out of. So far this coat is better than I imagined. It is so comfortable and fits perfectly. Wind cant even bother me now. Also, pleasantly surprised from the built in facemask in the hood. Very nice touch I would have never thought I needed. You can wear this casually and when the cold challenges you, you can bundle up with the best of them. I have no issues with the jacket as of yet and the quality is truly impressive.

For two months I sought out a jacket like this, combining style and function, to no avail. I stumbled upon the Gotham III on my way out of Von Maur, and hastily tried it on, as I wasn't there to buy a jacket. I knew at that instant that was the jacket I would buy. TNF has more colors online, plus I saved 10% on my first order, so I bought direct. I've only been wearing it four days as of this review, and it's only gotten down to about 15, but I have no complaints so far.

It just started getting cold here in NYC and I'm glad I bought this jacket. It feels almost as nice as a Canada Goode jacket and nearly 25% of the price.

I dont consider it a gift because I bought this jacket for My Son. He loves the jacket. He wanted 1 like Mine but not as long so He picked out this 1 and He is exremely happy and so am I. I know its expensive but You must pay if You want good quality and when it comes to Your Children no price is to high. He waits outside every morning for His bus and it is very cold at 7 a.m. where We live so this protects Him from all the elements. It gives Me piece of Mind knowing He is warm. Thank you northface for making such a warm and great looking product.
