This jacket in size small is the perfect fit for me (5'7", 140 lbs). It is longer than it appears on the website, and fits like a parka, which I like. I only wish the lower front pockets were insulated - since getting this jacket, I've gotten into the habit of wearing gloves to keep my hands warm.

This is such a nice, warm winter jacket that has received many, many compliments. Almost always wear a medium in everything; would recommend going a size down as a small fit perfect!! I do, usually, prefer an athletic fit, though, so that may have had something to do with it.

I bought this for my 13 year old son who is very tall for his age (5'9" with very long arms). I bought the men's small and returned it for a medium so he could get two seasons out of it. Great and warm jacket that he will use for skiing and winter sports!

When I first purchased this jacket and put it on it was like love at first site. I loved it so much that I bought two in different colors.

I recently started my chemo treatments and needed a jacket that was going to keep me warm there and back and for all my other doctor visits and appointments. This jacket has done the job and then some. I never have to worry about feeling cold at all. I do wish the pockets were a little deeper, but there's so many that I can fill them up. I did some research about what type of jacket to get before buying this one. I love this jacket and am so happy I made the purchase.

This jacket is replacing my ultra warm down coat/jacket. I waited until this NF jacket went on sale in January and jumped on it. I've had it for 6 months or so and keep getting compliments from complete strangers when I wear it. I got the fire engine red one in the large size and love it. It is not bulky, I have 35/36 inch shirt sleeve and this jacket accommodates my long arms with ease. Love the hood and how much more warm it offers when needed. I'm amazed as to how comfortable I feel wearing this jacket. It just seems to fit me like a warm and comfortable old glove that hugs me in it's warmth. Such a nice feeling. Oh, and I know this is a bit of of an odd comment, but the plastic zipper is the easiest zipping zipper, I've ever had the pleasure to work with. No more wrestling zippers. If I had one idea for improvement, it would be to make the outside side pockets deeper, as my cell phone continuously falls out when I'm sitting in my car. By no means a deal breaker. Thanks North Face for making the Gotham III with such integrity, color selection, warmth, and North Face quality. This one's a keeper and will probably be an unsightly mess before, years form now, I go looking for a suitable replacement. Ha, with the Gotham III, I laugh in the face of NE winter.

WOW one of the BEST jackets I have ever owned

Coat is fantastic. Its warm and amazing. Haven't gotten a North Face in a while but this was well worth it.

I use this while going around in the city. It is a really comfortable and sufficiently warm jacket on its own but also has sufficient space to wear scarf and/or sweater inside. One thing to note: I bought the Asphalt grey color jacket. It is a bit darker in reality compared to the the picture shown on the website (which is a positive thing in my opinion).

Moved further north after many years in California and the South, and needed a good winter coat. This one is very warm and I especially love the neck gator.

I haven't purchased a north face coat in years. This has got to be the best one yet. I do wish that this coat had the side rib pockets I adored in the parka version of the previous coat I had. But none the less this coat far surpasses any and all expectations I had after purchasing. It's warm. It doesn't feel heavy, this is definitely built to last. Thank you so much for making high quality products.
