I wear 37 in Birkenstock sandals, 38 in non-sandals, got a 38 in these and they’re just right. Don’t feel like heels or a wedge. Walked blocks & blocks right out of the box without issue. (I did wear a thin sock.) They feel like old-school Danskos. Not clompy. Impressed and glad I purchased.

Super comfortable and cute, and they feel solid when you have them on. I wear 37 in the Arizona, but a 38 for these was fine. I only wish the dark wine colored ones had been available. Great shoe!

I love the Papillio platform! Got these shoes just so I can have a pair of shoes that are super comfortable. They are supposed to be narrow, but aren't too much so, and I think will get better with time.

I love these shoes for how they look and fit. The jury is still out on whether they will provide the needed support for standing/walking on a concrete floor for four hours at my volunteer job. I have arthritis in my feel, and my Birkenstock sandals are the only shoes that don’t hurt after hours of wear. I’m hoping these will do the same as the weather gets too cold for sandals. ? (I am 64, but I refuse to wear ‘old lady shoes!)

I have three pairs of these and the dove gray nubuck are my favorite. This color actually works for some evening wear—not traditional cocktail or black tie and it’s worth noting that I live in Seattle. While they are marked as narrow, I wear an 8N and have these in 38 and feel they could definitely be more narrow. They’re somewhere between M and N.

They are surprisingly comfortable. Also, super cute.

I love the fit. I did order two sizes. I ordered a 40 and a 41. I’m a US size 10-10.5 depending on brand. The 41 for more comfortably especially if I want to wear with tights or socks. I love the style too. Very chic and understated

Awesome comfort and fit!!!

I have been searching for a pair of summer sandals to wear to work. As closed toe shoes, these fit the bill! I love the dove grey color and the notch design in the top of the shoe. These shoes look and feel great! Because this shoe is advertised as "narrow", I ordered one size larger than what I normally wear, and the the sizing is perfect! I have wide feet. I have found that the shoe fits my feet perfectly by going up one full size in this shoe. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a cute, comfortable shoe with arch support.

I just got these, so I can't speak to how they will hold up over time. But they are incredibly comfortable out of the box and much cuter than I was expecting. I'm so relieved! I have a narrow foot, especially my heels, and high arches. And I walk around a LOT at work (at least 5-6miles over the day) so I need a shoe that provides good support. I love Birks (N) for sandals. But I never tried their closed-toe shoes because they seemed so clunky and a little too casual. For years, I've worn Naot shoes when I needed a closed-toed, dressier shoe with a heel. I haven't been thrilled with Naots lately. It seems like the quality of Naots has declined yet they are still expensive. I continued buying them for comfort and decent style for a more dressy work shoe, but recently, the Naots I ordered arrived in not great shape (one pair looked won the other was flawed), so I decided to try the "Mary" by Birkenstock. I'm so glad I did. I instantly fell in love with them. They're even more comfortable than the Naots and they're every bit as cute. They look slightly less dressy from a side angle (you can see the Birk footbed). But I can live with that. I usually wear a 39 N in Birk sandals (and 39 in Naot and 8 for everything else except running shoes). The 39 fit perfectly in length. Width-wise, there's enough room around my foot that I can wear them with socks if I want. But they fit well enough that I can still wear them with tights or barefoot if I wanted. Total win! A little stiff at first but just because it’s new leather. So excited to have a versatile shoe to wear with jeans, crop pants, skirts/dresses.

My second pair. I now have brown and black. They are very comfortable even though it’s narrow width. They are perfect for my feet especially with the arch support. I did get 42 instead of 41.

Super cute shoes that have amazing support! My feet don’t hurt at the end of the day when wearing these. The only thing I notice is the front leather part rubs on the side of my toes a tad, but it will likely improve after wearing them in.

Very comfy, I used them for walking all day long and were very soft and comfy. It took like a month to break in then everything was smooth. I received lots of complements on them

Birkenstock is always tricky for me, because I should be a 39.5. In the flat sandals I've been 40 (with some room to spare). I ordered this pair in 40 and it was way too loose. I got a 39 and they fit well, I'm glad I changed. I used them for the first time at a trade show, so wearing them all day long. I did get a mini blister, but I'm not mad. Very good shoe.

I purchased these for my daughter, an elementary teacher, & she loves them. They are very comfortable & says she can work all day with ease.

I love Birkenstocks and I absolutely thought I could never wear anything with a heel, even a wedge but these proved me wrong. I can’t wait to grab another style with this footbed.
