Great shoes for work where it’s not allowed to wear open toes sandals. Stylish, excellent arch support. I’m a 71/2-8 and got the 38, fits perfectly.

I have slightly narrow feet and from the reviews this was many reviewers thought. My foot was swimming and the foo tbed felt hard to me. The are really pretty shoes but I need serious support and a soft bendable sole. Sure that they are otherwise great shoes. I have terrible feet.

I really wanted to love these shoes. They're adorable, with a nice height and a good stability with the wedge. However, I have a wide foot and the inner edge of the show rubbed on both of my feet. The back of the shoe is high as well and I could tell that it would cause blistering pretty quickly. I wish the leather had been just a little more supple.

Super cute shoe, soft leather, good cushioning in the sole, great arch support (the elevated heel helps). However, my toes/ball of my foot did not line up with the toe support so it was just uncomfortable. I guess if Birk's fit your toe to ball length usually, you'll probably be OK?

Was still too wide for my narrow foot.

I loved the style , fit and comfort but did not like the leather of the shoe. The leather made them look very casual. I didn’t like the look of the leather.

The arch support and cork footbed are great, but my toes on my foot rubbed just so slight against the end/side of the toe box that it hurt. If I had gotten a larger size it would have been too big

Ah, I wish I could keep these super cute shoes, but make sure that you note that they come in narrow widths only! I generally have a narrow foot, but enjoy Birkenstocks because I'm flat-footed. This shoe is very narrow and causes some rubbing on the inside of your arch if you don't have a high arch already. Great for narrow high-arched feet, not for the wide or flat-footed.

Beautiful shoe with very high quality leather. Unfortunately this shoe runs small. I own several Birkenstock 42s and this one was much shorter. Had to return.

I have narrow feet and, while the left one of these is fine, the right one cuts into the top of my foot on the right side, while there's a gap on the left side. I've stuck a shoe stretcher in the left one and am hoping it gets better!

Love the Birkenstock sandals generally, but these felt stiff and uncomfortable. So I'm returning them.

I love the style of these girls and I have bought 4 pairs. When you can find a pair that fits correct they are amazing. With that being said, I have had to order multiple pairs of the same size to find the right fit. I have received pairs that's are much smaller, much larger, or one shoe larger than the other. The sizing is very inconsistent with these shoes. Once I can find a pair that fits correctly they are a dream.

I love this style and color but….the size 40 fit in length and width however, the footbed did not hit my toes at the correct place. The size 41 footbed fit correctly but overall it was too big, especially in the ankle. I tightened the ankle strap but the toe end of the shoe flopped on my foot. I typically wear a 9 1/2. Wish these came in a 40.5 European size. Sadly I had to return both sizes.

I bought these in size 38 Narrow (which is supposedly a size 7). I normally wear 7 Wide. The part of the shoe that covers the toes; the top edge of that, even though there's a split in the center of it, was a little too tight and rubbed. Also my pinky toes rubbed a little. The width of the sole of the shoe was pretty good. Why oh why didn't Birkenstock made these in size "Regular" in addition to "Narrow"? Why? (I tried the 39's, which is a size 8, but they were too long. Fit perfectly except for that)

Loved the sandals super cute but it just didn't fit right... Even ordered a second pair to see if I just got a defective pair, but unfortunately it was not the case :(

I like the look of this shoe and the arch support always found in Birkenstock. However I am returning them. The top is so rigid it makes it uncomfortable. These would have been perfect if they were soft leather.

very hard leather, very uncomfortable on my big toe. Great style and good looking shoe, I hate it didn't work for me and my crazy feet!

These felt a little small, the leather wasn’t as good quality as I would expect for the price, they felt a little old lady-ish. They were nice, but not amazing so I sent them back. My experience with Zappos was amazing.

So I have wide feet but I don’t always need to order a wide so with these I figured it shouldn’t be a problem because others said they were wider than narrower. Well the tow band that your foot goes into made the rest of the too if my foot that was showing look like it was swollen it like my foot was very puffy. I bought them for work because I stand on my feet all day but I could only imagine if it looked that bad at first then it wouldn’t hold up to a day of standing where in fact my foot may swell so I unfortunately had to send them back.

I really REEEEEALLY wanted these to work. The color is perfect for my fair/winter skin tone, neither too yellowy or pinky (sandcastle nubuck), the wedge is super cute and stylish, and I could see them working for spring, summer, and fall. In lieu of an espadrille in the summer, spring and fall color-palate friendly. And they are almost incredibly comfortable. At least the foot bed is. The sides of the top part dig into the sides of my feet. This is not an exaggeration, I almost got blisters on my right foot while wearing it during the time I was buckling the left shoe and walked five feet across the room. It was odd because the inside of the front part of the shoe is almost too roomy for the average width of my foot. It was just the sides near the opening that dig painfully into my feet. I wondered if a smaller size would help. I'm almost tempted to exchange for the next size down. I'll update with a review if I do and if I have success. In the mean time... Back they go, sadly.

I’m still debating on whether I am going to keep this pair or not. I like the looks of them but they just aren’t comfortable.

I actually purchased two pairs of these, and I'm typically a size 6 M. These seem to come in Narrow only and first pair was marked 6/6.5. it was HUGE. So then I purchased the 5/5.5 thinking it would work. It didn't either - it also felt slightly too big. Was not happy with these at all. I noticed many of the brands were offering these full/half size combo sizes. These were not the only brands I tried. All were returned. I gave up.

Shoes were worn before- the straps were worn from use & there are scuff marks & scratches on the toes.

I can tell that this shoe would be very comfortable as a heel, and I wanted it because I have had plantar fasciitis and cannot wear my other heels. BUT, this shoe is HUGE. I wear an 8 narrow, and according to the box this shoe is 39 N, or an 8 N. But it is not even close according to US 8N. I would replace it with a different size but the box did say N, so I do not think a smaller size N would be helpful.
