This style is not a "narrow" width. The leather upper was a bit loose on my medium-width feet. However, they are very cute and very comfortable, so I'm keeping them. I ordered the metallic black color and they look great with jeans or a casual dress.

Cute shoes that go with a lot of outfits but they are not very comfortable- there isn’t much cushion at all so if when I’m doing a lot walking and/or standing, my feet start hurting fairly quickly.

I SOOO wanted to like these. I'm a huge fan of Birkenstocks, but these just didn't fit my arch well and were clunky. The leather is pretty and the quality is there, just not right for my feet.

I originally ordered a 39, they were a little too big and loose around my feet. The 38 fit perfect and were more snug. Very comfortable and can wear all day!

Too big

I am not sure why these say Narrow fit. I wear a 38 in Birkenstocks and these fit perfectly in 38. I bought two pair, the suede ones and the metallic black ones. They both fit great. The suede ones were a little snug when I first put them on but within 15 minutes they molded to my feet. The first time I wore both of these shoes was two events that each lasted about four hours, and my feet I felt fine! These are cute, look like more heel than they are, but still probably are not the most stylish shoes in the world. Still, I love my Birks and hate heels so they are perfect for me.

I wanted to love the shoe but it was a full size too large and too wide. It’s a great open toe slide wedge.

Had to return, wish they had worked out. My foot kept sliding too far forward in the shoe to where my toes would stick out. Ordered a regular width. Wish they would reduce the height of the wedge, then I believe this would stop the problem. Otherwise very comfortable & cute shoe.

usually Birkenstock narrows are fine but I do have wide feet so I was taking a chance by ordering these. super cute and comfortable initially, but after walking around, the top part digs into the tow.

Last pair (clogs) I ordered an EU 38 which are slightly big so I went down one size and these are way smaller. Very narrow! I’ll try to size up and see if that works.

This shoe said narrow, I don’t wear narrow shoes but since it is a Birkenstock company, I figured I would be ok. I was correct, my normal width foot feels fine in this slide. Overall, they don’t move as well as some other slides, but my foot doesn’t move either and there is no sound when walking, so a good trade off. I got these on sale and they are barely worthy of the sale price, wouldn’t pay full price for these ever.

The Papillio is not narrow enough for a narrow shoe. Cannot find cute narrow shoes that are comfortable. Had high hopes for these but have to return. The Mayari sandals work well in narrow but have them on their tightest notch. I have three pair of these.

I ordered narrow, which I have never ordered in my life, and they were still so wide I had to return.

Love these shoes. I am a size 7. Got the 38; felt good but exchanged for the 37 and I believe a better fit - my foot fits in without all the room I had in the 38 between end of my heel and the heel of the shoe. Plus I read they stretch after time and thought this size would be better; they both feel good out of the box but i tried them in the house a few times... great feeling shoe.

I was so excited to get birks in narrow...but they were still way too wide :(

Have these in gold and love them, so I wanted to have them in black, too. However, the sizing is different--one sandal fit ok; the other was too wide. Would order another pair, as I think this pair is off, but they are out of stock now. Will try again next spring!

Ok I was really hoping these shoes would be ok per the reviews that they weren’t really narrow. They are and I’m sorry to have to return them. You are wonderful to order from and I will continue my search for shoes that work for my wide feet.

The left shoe is looser than the right—maybe it’s my feet. The shoes are long enough but they don’t hug my feet. I tried a size down but they’re just a fraction too small. I wonder if my pair is kind of defective? Maybe I’ll try some inserts if they exist.

I often get tripped up by sizes 5- 5.5. I am a true 5. I was hoping in middle age my feet would grow plus having a a kid! But no. I was delivered a size 6 - giant waste of time. Cute though so I you are a 6- go for it.

This material is very hot and is not comfortable for summer

Overall, adorable shoes and would be comfortable if they didn’t run so small. Also, the inside of each shoe where your big toe hits is unusually comfortable where the material hits your foot (usually hurts in most shoes), and since it runs small, it was tight there too. Great shoe if you can size up.

I was really bummed because I wanted these to work so badly! After seeing reviews saying "I don't know why they call these narrow...they're huge" I thought they would be perfect. Unfortunately, they are super snug in the opening and they don't have any larger size for me to try.

I really wanted to like these but my normal size was too big, both length and the upper, so I exchanged for a smaller size and that was too big too. Although it’s supposed to be a narrow fit my foot swam in the shoe

Wanted to love this shoe but even though its a narrow the upper was so roomy that foot slid forward to the point toes hanging off front edge. I usually wear a medium width. Cute style and nice shoe otherwise. Disappointed it didn't work out.

I love the shoes, however, like other reviews here, my normal size of 39 was too wide. I would turn my ankle. The 38 had a better fit in the width but was a tad too short. so sad I had to return them.
