This shoe is loose on the foot as it is unstructured and does not hug the foot as I am accustomed to in this brand. I have a slender foot and it may well work for a full foot. It would easily slip off my foot and certainly is not recommended for elderly even around the house. Color is nice. I am returning, thank you Zappos, for your liberal return policy.

This item is not authentic Birkenstock, poor quality cheaper materials used in this clog. Made in Portugal stamped inside of shoe not from Germany. Warning, be aware of this if ordering especially for this price point. Sending back very disappointed.

These shoes are very very Wide. Not appropriate for those with narrow feet. Do not advertise them that way, please. Also European 39 is not equivalent to US size 8. Beautiful style. Even in shorter length would be waaay too wide.
