I was really hoping that these shoes would be as comfortable as my old Merrill's, however after a couple of weeks they really hurt my feet and my lower back so I have quit wearing them.

Bought a pair of the plain jungle moc with the suede. They were great lasted 7 months. So bought these leather thinking they would last longer. Wrong . After two weeks they hurt feet so bad. Like there's no cushion in the bottom. So. Sad. I wouldn't recommend these.

Not same as previous pair that I wore out. Different fit and feel. Not as pleased as I expected.

I have actually bought this BLACK LEATHER JUNGLE MOC shoe since 2008 buying half dozen pairs. This latest pair not even 3 months old has the sole peeling off the toe on both shoes. It either is a poor design attempting to wrap the sole up onto the toe or it's a bad different type of glue, I do not know. NOT WORTH THE LOW VALUE, in this poor present state. The shoes look like new other than these defects. I take very good care of my shoes.

The review title pretty much says it all. Why make these?

Price for these shoes went 40% up compare to when I bout last time 2 pairs. Same shoes same brand then why price is too high. I rather buy different brand.

I've been wearing these for years, having purchased well over a dozen pairs. A few years ago, my 11-1/2's were worn out and I needed a new pair, but they didn't fit! I had to get 12's. My third pair of 12's have worn and I got 12's but now they are too long. They appear 1/2 size longer than my current 12's. This inconsistency seems coupled with a slight lessening in detailing quality, shortening the value of these when wearing them as "dress shoes".

My Merrills LOOK beautiful, but I cnnot wear them because they hurt my ankle and cause a bruise. The design of the inside of the shoe has a bad thing. I must send them to a place where we give away items that we can't use.

My foot sits. To low in this shoe,hence the sides get under my ankle, it hurts bad,! I inserted an old Merrill insert to raise my foot. Now my big toe hurts. Dissatisfied!

Unfortunately, I must concur with some of the reviews that I read AFTER unboxing and wearing the Jungle Moc Leather 2 Wide width. Keep in mind, please, that I have been a fan of Merrell shoes for nearly 20 years and have previously been very pleased. These recently acquired shoes, purchased as an alternative to the Jungle Moc Wide Width Taupe purchased in 2018, are uncomfortably too wide. I put a pad in the bottom to help a bit, but those pads slide around. This winter, I am wearing heavy socks when possible, but what will happen this summer? The outer side of the shoe below the ankle was and has remained too stiff. For more than three years, I have tried unsuccessfully,to break in those 2018 Jungle Mocs. Unlike my years of previous purchases, those shoes have never stretched out for comfortable wear. I do not look forward to a search for a comfortable pair of shoes after so many dependable years of Merrell's shoes, but, it seems, I must conduct that search..

Very uncomfortable shoe but looks good. Fit was true

I bought these for my dad and when I received the shoe I saw that the front of the show was not glued well and it had glue smeared all over. I processed a return and had to pay out of my pocket to return a shoe that is clearly not well made. I wrote the company explaining this and I had no follow up. I will never buy from this company again. I don't recommend the shoe either.

I've owned many pair of Merrill's and until now my most comfortable shoes right out of the box. These were not comfortable from the moment I put on and would not break in. The return process was simple however!

I've always found this shoe to be very comfortable, but this one was very uncomfortable for some reason. stitching inside or difference in the 2 shoes may them uncomfortable. Returning for credit. Thank you

This shoe, compared to other Merrell shoes I've purchased, are made on a different last. In other words, the size I wear fits properly with other styles I've purchased. This particular style runs very large for the same size. After trying these shoes on, they were immediately returned to Merrell. I'm not buying another size. I demand consistency.

I have many pairs of Merrell shoes and boots. I really liked how great these looked, but I had to return them because the leather insides slipped on my heels. I wish this same shoe was made with a fabric cushioned inner heel.

Not comfortable. I love Merrell shoes and will keep buying them, however, this shoe hurts my ankles and I can't wait to take them off when I get home from work.
