way to long to get the shoes why to long to get a refund shoes are larger then the sizes. not happy

I've been wearing Jungle Mocs for years and get a new set every year or two. Always comfy and well built. Not sure what is up with the set I just got, but they are absolutely terrible when there is water around. I'm a very sure footed person, but the other day I was visiting a friend at a hospital and walked into a recently mopped bathroom and both my feel came out from under me like I was on ice. I was able to grab a partition and the sink to keep from ending up all the way down. Figured it was weird that the place was so slippery and passed it off as that. Went home and it rained the next day, outside and in my garage with wet feet, these things are sliding around all over the place. Literally almost fell several times. There's no oil on the shoes, at least none that didn't come from the factory. Days later, still slippery in water. Not sure what's up, but this could have been a huge problem and I could see someone getting hurt very easily.

I love Merrell's and my go to size is 11 wide but this style shoe runs a little large. It felt like the shoes wanted to slip off when I walked in them. I have two other styles of moc's and both fit fine, just like my Moab's.

I bought these as a "dress up" version of my most favorite shoes in the world - the Jungle Moc Nubuck. It does look good but these shoes are a good bit stiffer and not nearly as comfortable probably because of the stiffer smooth leather upper which I hope breaks in over time. They are also sized about 1/2 size larger than the Nubuck version. I wear a 9.5 in the Nubuck which is perfect for me but that same size in the leather version is definitely larger. I should have bought the size 9. The padded collar around the ankle is also made of leather and is fairly stiff out of the box which digs into my ankle bone in an uncomfortable way -- hoping this area breaks in as well. By comparison, the collar of the Nubuck version is a padded fabric material which is very comfy. Overall, I'm hoping these break in to the point of being as comfy as my Nubuck's - if they do, they'll be the dressier version of shoe perfection.

Nothing substandard about this shoe EXCEPT the ankle padding. Since it's a slip-on, the ankle openings have to be a bit tight but the comparatively thin padding and stiff sides don't work. Also, the soles aren't Vibram as some sites have expressed; just plain rubber. Nice Espresso color and attractive appearance but not the best overall value out there. Discomfort and expected long break-in necessitated return.

Product looked good but was larger than expected. That said, there is not enough information to review the product yet. On the other hand, the initial purchase was fast but return processing is slow.

This is the 3rd pair of Jungle Moc Leather shoes that I have bought in the past 7 years, all of which were the same size. The first two pair were extremely comfortable with no break-in period. This pair is different--it took 2 weeks before they stopped hurting my feet, and they don't seem as supportive/comfortable as the prior 2 pairs. Not sure what they changed, but they do not feel like the same shoe to me, which is disappointing. I won't be buying this shoe again.

I ordered a new pair of Jungle Moc Leather shoes that were the supposed to be the same size and style as the ones I wore and loved for 2 years. I have been wearing them for a few weeks and they are no where near as comfortable as my last pair. These rub where the soles go up the sides on the outsides of the shoes. Unfortunately, this is not the 1st time that I've found that Merrell shoes are not consistent. I had the same issue with my 2 pairs of Moab Edge...

1. Use neutral polish at first. This leather is not evenly finished and you may get uneven results. 2. The texture of the leather on my pair does not match. I noticed this after I polished the first one, so no return possible.

Good comfort shoe but the bottom rubber soul wore out very quickly ! Very disappointing in a very comfortable shoe !

I have two other pairs of Jungle Mocs that are great but this leather version was loose on my foot. The shoe slips off my heel...something my other shoes never do. I love the look of the leather version but it just didn't work for me.

I have an older pair of Merrell Shriver Leather Jungle Moc's that really fit me well, I have worn extensively, and really like. At this point they are a bit beat up and I hoped to replace them with something comparable. The Jungle Moc Leather 2 that I bought does not come close to filling the bill. They fit differently, are not nearly as sturdy, and squeak when I walk. I'm sorry I bought them.

Liked the look, but even with the wide width they were still too narrow.

I've have these shoes before in black not brown, in fact order two sets at a time just to have another set for when the first set wore out. The black ones were great and I would have rated them 5 stars. They were better looking and had a better feel before the 'tentacle' look. I can actually feel the tentacles when I walk, they feel (to me) like bumps or lumps on my feet. Weird. Would be nice if the previous soles came back soon, because I need two new sets quickly. Somethings are better left unchanged, and this is one of them. Still like Merrell products but now looking at different brands for something similar.

While the toebox was perfect for my wide feet, the heel was so loose that each step I took, the heel came out and the shoe could have slipped off my foot.

I purchased the men's jungle moc (suede pigskin) in 11 wide and they fit perfectly to my size 11 wide foot, and they are very comfortable! Reviews said the shoe fits true to size, and they were correct. Two weeks later I ordered the jungle moc 2, 11 wide, based on the great fit of the previous shoe. Unfortunately, the new shoes were much too large both in width and length, very uncomfortable and unwearable because of the large size. Interestingly, reviews on this shoe also reported the shoe fit true to size. Obviously, something is either wrong with the reviews or the shoes I obtained were defective (the shoes do indicate 11 wide inside). My suspicion is that the shoes were mis-marked and were probably at least a size 12 or 13 or larger. However, since I wore the Jungle moc 2 for a brief period one afternoon to see if they would start feeling better, I will probably not be unable to return them, per Merrell return rules. I am hopeful while waiting to speak with customer service. BUYER BEWARE!

No longer a slip-resistant shoe. Useless on wet floors. And unable to be returned because you have to wear them to understand they do not resist slips. Waste of a hundred bucks. Bummed because my last pair the Jungle Moc Leather 2 Pro was perfect, they no longer carry them in black, and have named these basically exactly the same. Guess I'll try and hype these up and sell them second-hand but gonna have to find another work shoe. Very Disappointed.

Had the shoes for a couple years. The Elastic fabric holding the shoe to my foot has stretched to the point where the shoe is now too loose on my foot. I expected better quality from Merrell.

After only two months of normal wear, the EVA sole section that wraps up on the front at the toes began to separate from the leather on both shoes. Very disappointing.

It's not the shoes, it's just I ordered a different color for two pairs , Both took too long to go the then cookies were wrong, and refunding taking lot longer

Originally purchased size 12 because my Moab2 fits perfectly as I have purchased several Moab/Moab2's throughout the years. The Jungle Moc 12 shoes were significantly too large (close to an inch). Then ordered size 11 way too small. Retuned, looking for another slip on casual shoe/brand.

I have loved and worn Merrell shoes for many years. They were comfortable, leather was soft and easy on the side of my feet. This is no longer true and I have returned my recent purchases
