The reviews had me order a half size bigger, thus ordered an 8. They were half size too big. They are true to size. I had to return them. Waiting for my right size 7.5 to arrive. One final note, I prefer keen hiking shoes they are attractive and last a long long time. My last paired lasted nine years. They can withstand the harsh weather and terrain conditions; from tropical to freezing conditions.

I've been wearing KEEN waterproof shoes for years. This one felt sloppy--too wide for an M--and it came up too high, hitting my ankle bones. I'm very disappointed.

Great looking shoe and well made; however, my heels kept slipping. I even put on thicker socks...sadly didn't help. They felt true to size and width.

I love the shoe and would have kept it except my ankle hit the top of the shoe on the inside. The arch was true for a size 6. The width is about a D-E.

These are exactly what I need.

Length was perffect but just a tab wider at the heel than my other Keens

Love this shoe - and will reorder - as this one has a defect at the left toe - inside the shoe, on the toe seam , there is buckle or a "gathering of material" - I can feel it when wearing the shoe. There is a bump in the toe area on the outside as well. Some how this passed quality control???? I'm sure the exchanged pair will be awesome.

I’ve been buying Keen hikers for many years. This is the first I’m not completely happy with. I purchased them 8 months ago for winter walking, and have discovered the soles are very slippery on smooth surfaces like cement floors. Tile? Forget it. Yes, they are waterproof and keep my feet absolutely dry. The style is clunky, not so great in a fashion sense. These are fine for times you know you won’t be anywhere but outdoors.

These shoes were exactly what I was looking for. The toe bed seemed impermeable to water to keep out the morning dew on my hikes. Unfortunately, the shoe rubbed my ankle, so I had to return them. Bummer because I really liked them.

The arch just hit my arch in the wrong place, because my Rx orthotics have I guess a slightly longer length from the area of the arch to the toe box. When I tried them out the bunion on my left foot began to hurt immediately. My Rx orthotics are a new pair and I just had a follow up adjustment and couple of weeks ago. :-( I will try it 1/2 larger and maybe that will work. I own SAS "walk easy" walking oxford style tie shoes but they do not provide quite enough support even for outside street and sidewalk walking. I sure hope the half size bigger will work this is a very nice shoe. Merrells are too narrow.

The seem in the heel rubs and makes it not comfortable

This is a very well made shoe however i have a long narrow foot. The shoe fit in the forefoot but not the heel, too wide. Length felt true to size, can't provide ratings on comfort as required because i didn't wear them, only tried them on.

The upper part of the shoe is very thick and stiff and presses painfully into the delicate top part of my foot. It's not the kind of thing that seems like it might get better with wear. It's unfortunate since the shoe is great otherwise - I have the boot version and they are incredibly comfortable and was really hoping I'd love these as much.

The shoe was fine, the shoe fit well. Good looking. The deciding factor on returning them was due to my heel would lift when I walked. The next size down would of been too small.

Feels a bit wide take a 7.5 in a Merril and ordered same size in the Keen.

toe box wasn't wide enough

The left shoe seemed to have a high ridge on the outer aspect of the mid foot. It was disappointing as everything else on the shoe on the right foot fit very well.

Fit perfectly, with good cushioning, but no arch/medial stability against pronation. Hoping the Targhee II is better in that regard.
