Comfortable yet sturdy. And waterproof. I use these to do yard work in and they stay dry inside regardless if its with wet on the outside from the dew or the rain. I can wear them all day without discomfort.

These are really comfortable shoes. I use orthotics with them and I am still breaking them in. I usually wear a 7.5. I had to exchange them for a 7 for a better fit. I work outside so I needed a water resistant shoe with a good tread for durability. I like the color as well. It is a little lighter blue than it appears in the picture. I have had good results with all of my Keen shoes and I expect these will be the same.

I have super sensitive feet. These were comfortable right out of the box and continue to be great shoes!

I spend a lot of time in the mountains, hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. I love these shoes. Very little break in time, good traction, comfortable insoles, good fit around the heel and the toe box. Love the fact that they're waterproof. This is the second pair I've bought.

Love the shoes. But after only about 3 hours the ball of my foot started hurting, so I'm buying different insole and hoping that works

These are my favorite Keen shoes. I tried another brand and had to return them. I have plantar fasciitis and these are the best shoes for walking - 3+ miles a day. Would love to see more color choices.

I bought these for a trip to Mammoth Cave Kentucky. So relieved and happy with my choice to buy these Keens vs the cuter Merrells i had my eye on. The wide toe base does allow toe spread for a natural foot position and certainly better balance. Ive never been so steady and comfortable in a pair of shoes. The TargeeIIIs traction was great for traversing wet caves and rugged, diverse Kentucky Trails. Im between an 8-8.5 depending on brand and style. I bought a size 8 and it was just right. Not one blister or ache in my foot the whole 5 days

Not only are these shoes, my favorite for long distance, hiking but the customer service is superior. When the grommet from my shoe broke two weeks before a major hike, the company shipped me a new pair immediately and I was able to break them in before the trip.

I might need more medial support than most but this one didn't have it. Hoping other Keen styles do. Cushioning and fit were good.
I'd also recommend:

Was looking for a waterproof hiking shoe that fit my wide feet. This one not only looks great, I had plenty of room across the top of my feet and is very comfortable.

I hike several miles daily with our dogs, and these are the only "shoes" I wear until there's deep snow. I love the fit, the wide toe box, and the soles. They have been completely waterproof year after year. I'm on my 6th or 7th pair in the past 15 years. They do wear out, eventually, but I'm a Keen loyalist because of the great quality, the waterproof uppers and the durability.

Comfortable, I have arthritis in my feet and the support offered makes my daily 4 mile woods walk tolerable. No matter what I still need to ice . The toe box offers plenty of wiggle room , laces stay tight offering good foot support.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

I have owned dozens of these shoes, both waterproof and vent. I wear them for work delivering packages. Besides being comfortable right out of the box, they have superior traction to other keen styles and the Oboz shoes that I used to call favorites up until the big slip and fall that broke my ankle. Only complaint, some pairs seem poorly constructed, two shoes don’t quite math, toe cap is off center on one… Not a huge issue because Zappos is good to exchange the ones that appear to possibly be seconds or made in a different plant or something. Insoles on these must be upgraded for the amount of walking that I do.

The company was awesome helped me find my right shoe and fit. It did take a couple of tries. Each style of shoe fits a little different. My only complant is the shoe laces won't stay tied with out a double knot. The fit on these shoes are nice and comfy for my size 11 wider foot. My first time wearing them I walked a mile to see how they would feel, and the shoes were perfect .

I've worn Keen hiking shoes for years and I wanted to love this shoe. I do love the wide toe box and the stiff sole, however, after wearing it for a while, I started having a lot of foot pain. That's when I realized that this shoe has no real arch support. The insole is labelled "arch support" but it bends as easily as a paper plate. I ended up buying insoles for arch support and an end to my foot pain. Very disappointed that a hiking shoe at this price point has such poor to non-existent arch support, especially when there are other hiking shoes out there in the same price range that have excellent support.

For me, these are a better fit than the previous two versions. I wear them mostly on roads and sidewalks on rainy days when the moss can turn into the equivalent of black ice. No heel slippage. I'm happy with them!

I have been researching walking shoes and decided on these due to the wide fit. I have Hallux Valgus on both feet, making getting comfortable shoes very tricky. So far I am delighted with the shoes. The toe box is plenty wide enough and I havent had to wear the shoes in at all, a 2 hour walk on New Years Day went brilliantly. Ii like the insoles and feel I have stability when walking. So far so good!

My wife loved these shoes, but she has wide feet and these were a little narrow for her feet. We had to return them. We had to purchase another brand which had wide sizes. We would love to see Keen offer wide sizes.

Would expect a much better product for the price paid; lacking any foot/arch support. Not good for hiking hours on end.
