The waterproofing on these shoes failed within a month of beginning to wear them. I was disappointed as my last pair of Columbia shoes lasted me 2 years.

The shoes didn't even last 2 months before the stitching popped and created an opening in the side of the shoe.

Felt tight even the next size up. Materials felt cheap and like the shoe would fall apart with only a little use. Very disappointed as Columbia has been a pretty good brand in the past.

These shoes seem to have so much going for them - good arch, good tread, waterproof, mesh upper...but it's those last two that make these the most painful shoes I've ever owned. See, you would think, what with the lightweightness and waterproofness, that these would be good for walks on the beach. But it turns out the mesh lets the sand in, while the fact that you cannot remove the waterproof bootie means the sand stays trapped in the shoe. At the end of a long walk on the beach your foot is painfully squeezed, your toes jammed, your walk ruined. At first I just thought it was the size, or something wrong with my foot. Nope. And when I cut a slit in the waterproof bootie a load of sand the size of my fist poured out of just my right shoe. Bad, bad design. My toes still haven't recovered.

Ordered my usual size, 9E but these felt like a whole size smaller. They were really tight. I even compared the label to the box because I really thought they had the wrong shoe in it.

Like the Redmond but have struggled with the V2 model. Shoes were narrow and needed to try the wide size version. Shoe fits well, but has developed a significant and very noticeable squeak in each shoe sole. I don't have many miles on these yet, but the squeak is making them pretty much un usable. Anyone having an issue like this?
