Comfortable and waterproof! They worked great in the rain, on wet grass, etc -- just what I needed for a December trip.

I love these shoes! They fit like a glove! They're light, supportive, keep the water out (a must in rainy Oregon), and I can walk for miles. I've had foot issues in the past and need "plush" soles and I need extra "give" on the top. These have both of those. The best thing is that I am finally back into my walking - rain or shine.

Probably one of the most comfortable shoes I have bought

This is my second pair of Columbia Hiking shoes and I love both. I wanted something that had a shallower tread design than the Columbia Granite Ridge, and these fit the bill. They are good looking, stylish and comfortable shoes. They fit snugly. I tend to wear cushioning socks. If you wear thin to moderate cushion socks the shoes are fine. If you wear heavy cushion socks you might want to opt for a half size larger.

The best shoe you can buy for the price. These shoes last longer than Timberlands and New Balance, put some insoles in them and then they are comfortable. -FedEx Driver

I picked up these shoes because they said 'waterproof.' Handy to have a waterproof shoe to walk around the metro area in the rain. My feet stay dry and the shoes are light and comfortable.

Love these shoes. No break-in time.Super comfortable and supportive. I wear them all year round. I bought a pair for both of my adult kids. They work great for my daughter. My son has VERY wide feet and these just do not work. I'll have to send his pair back.

The shoes feel like berry comfortable from the first time you use them

I was looking for a comfortable waterproof show that was more like a sneaker than a boot. These fit that bill perfectly. They are super comfortable. They do run just a little small. The only potential negative is since they are waterproof they don't breath well. So they are pretty warm in hot weather. But overall loving them. I bought two of these in different colors and also have another different pair of Columbia waterproof hiking shoes. By far the best for the money.

Comfortable, lightweight, good tread, true to size, and waterproof. My husband loves them, enough said.

I've ordered and worn this exact shoe (different colors) a number of times. It wears well and is comfortable. I wear it on the street and hiking. I love this shoe.

Have worn Columbia shoes for years. As a teacher and on my feet all day, they provide unbelievable support. Before I would go home in pain and drained from the day teaching 130+ high school students a day; now I have no pain and less teacher drain. Since I am a Geology Teacher, if we were on our weekly field trips, all over Northern Arizona, I never had to worry about taking extra shoes. These shoes work for all purposes. I seriously, DO NOT wear any other shoes. I do not even own any other shoes. My husband laughs because I will not even look at or consider any other shoes, not even for dress up days!

My boyfriend does A LOT of walking for his jobs. He is always on his feet and working in yards, walking on concrete and a mix of other platforms. The shoes are comfortable and he is very glad he chose them ! He goes through shoes like crazy and has never found a shoe he would like to consistently buy over and over again, this may be just that shoe !!

Thanks for your phenomenal hiking shoe. My son has a wide foot and we have had a hard time finding a comfortable shoe. Ordered two pair. Keep up the good work.

I have had at least 5 pair of the predecessor of this shoe and I will continue to buy them. I am a Landscape Architect and General Contractor so I wear these shoes every day. They are comfortable from the time you pull them out of the box. As they get more wear on them they do lose the "waterproof" ability though but it is not a deal breaker since I get new pair every year! I buy them as work shoes so it just makes sense to have a new pair very year! Side note, I normally wear a size 10 but i get a 10.5 in these shoes.

I purchased my second pair of the waterproof Redmond a few weeks ago when my last pair wore out after 5+ years of hard wear. I walk an average of 9 miles per day--some beach, and some woods. The first pair I received blew out around my pinky toe after two days of use. I called the service desk and had a wonderful discussion with the representative--and a delightful experience. She said that she believed I had received a lemon and the Redmond was still the perfect shoe for me. She sent me a new pair and I attest that she was correct. It is performing perfectly!

This is a very functional, comfortable shoe for light hiking and neighborhood walks, perhaps including casual dress days with khakis. I'm 67-years old and I walk in the woods with the dog. I also go on trips and do a lot of walking. These shoes are not heavy or stiff. The padding works well, they don't kill your arches, and they do not require any breaking in. I love these shoes even around the house. No complaints. Highly recommended.

My uncle uses that and wears it all the time in casual life also. The cushioning at the bottom might be a little softer. We know that Columbia is making good sportswear but some extra comfort can be added to bottom. Besides everything is perfect. If you find it in store, buy it. Internet price is sometimes high...

I had an old Columbia Redmond shoes. I love them so much! I used them when I go on a mountain trek everyday because of my job. It protects my feet from injuries as well as very comfortable. I bought a new pair for I am retiring the old man. I knew the Redmond shoes will have the qualities of my old pair, only better.

The product is very light, beautiful and good quality, I feel comfortable and comfortable when I wear it.
