Columbia offered a great deal on these shoes and I scooped them up as a Christmas present for my Dad. He really liked them. So much in fact he immediately put them on, handed me the shoes he was wearing and told me to throw them out. He said they fit great and really liked the harder sole. My Dad is 60+ and walks a lot. Overall a great gift !

This boot runs narrow. I went up 1/2 size. They are warm and waterproof. Good cushion. The sale price was about 1/2 of what other brands charge.

They are comfortable, lightweight, and provide excellent traction. The Omni-Heat technology keeps your feet warm and dry, while the waterproof construction ensures that your feet stay dry even in heavy rain. The shoes are also stylish and can be worn with any outfit. Highly recommended!

I bought these for my husband as every day wear in our upstate New York weather. Not only are they light but more like shoes than hiking boots so an easy choice with a casual outfit.

This is my second pair, not because the first wore out but because somehow my feet seem to want a larger size. In any case, I like these shoes because they keep the wet and windy winter away from my feet. I find them comfortable and warm. And the price was a bargain.

I like this shoe quite a bit. Seems durable, rugged, well made. I'm a woman who has a large foot. So most womens sizes only go up to 11, which doesnt work for me. So a mens 10.5 is the way to go. For me. This shoe, so far seems perfect. Usually the mens shoe has a bit more width, which I dont necessarily need, this one doesnt. Don't get me wrong, its not tight, but its not overly wide like i find some mens 10.5's Just like other Columbia priducts, I hope to get a lot of use out of these.

Very comfortable. The laces hold effectively and the shoes give good support. My feet sweat a bit more than normal in these shoes.

Nice boot overall but could be better. It runs a little narrow but shoe size is spot on. Nice solid tread. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the shoe laces will NOT stay tied.

Have a lot of columbia goods great co. This chucka fits true to size, as the woodburn . Woodburn are warmer even without omni heat tunge ? Should last as the WB. Do buy the chucka for the extra ankle protection.

Starting this review off that I didn't have proper winter boots for urban environment that I live in and these looked like they would fit my style. Keep in mind I have flat feet which I have to wear custom orthotic inserts and I've recent been suffering from a bit of plantar fasciitis in my left foot. I decided go a half size larger than I normally wear and that was a good decision on my part as these run just a touch narrow in the toe box. Got these just in time for our first snow storm, about 10 inches on the ground. I was able to walk around comfortably and my feet stayed super warm from the Omniheat tech and dry from their own waterproofing. I will say on smooth floors (like inside a supermarket) when it is wet from rain or snow they can be a touch slippery but not too concerning. On concrete and in the snow, they were great. I hope these will last me a couple of seasons as they are my first pair of Columbias.

I've had these for about a year and very happy with them. Walking in 15-30 degrees, ice, slush and feet stay warm and dry. The boots are breaking nicely, very well made.

These are great, and that thermal stuff is definitely doing something as they seem pretty warm. The product has one objective defect and one subjective one. Objective: the laces will not stay tied. Not a huge problem. The quality of the laces is so poor that I'm tempted to replace them but have too wonder what other penny saving corner may have been cut. Subjective:. I get that the silver material is visible to show the thermal material, and I don't really care about cosmetics for the most part...but having silver sparkles on my shoe is not the look I'm going for. This is completely covered by my pants leg, but I wasn't planning on only winter use and will have to get something else to wear with shorts. I'd still buy these shoes but they'd be better without the sparkles! Great, with the two exceptions above.

Bought these for my husband. He's only worn them a couple of times so far . He can't speak to the Omni-heat or whether they're waterproof yet as it hasn't rained since he got them nor is it cold. Yet. That's why the four stars They do run true to size and he says they're very comfortable. He likes the grip of the sole and how they look on.

Boots fit great and are nice and toasty. However, the shoelaces are terrible and keep unknotting event with double knots.

Warm boot with good grip. Round laces come untied a lot but I found that to happen with most round laces.

I've found this shoe to be okay in the warmth department, not great. It is very comfortable and light. Its best feature is its traction on packed snow/ice. I'm glad I bought a pair. I bought a half size up and the fit is perfect with thick socks.
